does Conte plan on ensuring all the players are put in the starting xi? Lichtsteiner, Isla, Asamoah, Giovinco, Vidal, Quagliarella and Vucinic and potentially Jovetic are all transfers from within the past 2 summer mercato(s). Barzagli, Chiellini, Marchisio and Pirlo are all Juve-quality n easily starting xi material

Its this new thing called depth you see..

we will need quality players that can rotate with each other to progress in the league and in europe.

plus players will be leaving, proof in recent seasons with buying one player and selling or sodding him off a season or two after. examples Diego, Amauri, Melo, Elia..

how the fack are we supposed to win anything if we have bare 11 quality players?
some ppl were hoping we have shit players for rotation? if so then ur on thewrong side of Turin..

depth is great, but will it not create friction in the dressing room? I hate the Granata

If you aren't in form, you aren't locked into the starting 11.

Then there is the multiple competitions to consider, it will be difficult to give 100% every game when you're playing every 3 days (at times this will happen) and this is when rotation will make or break the team.

This is a great problem to have. I don't see players being castaway and not featuring at all (Elia/Krasic like). If that happens, then there will be some unhappy players. In the end, all players want to play.

Look at any top champions league roster and all of their depth. It's almost like people forgot about the amount of depth we had before calciopoli. There are many reasons why we sucked before this season and a lack of depth was one of those reasons.

We had Henry, Miccoli and Di Vaio on the bench in 2003. Our team used to be stacked more than Real Madrid is now.

If you ensure players a starting spot, the other players leave for opportunities. If it's open competition for spots, the best player starts. Everyone has an equal shot. Beat your competitors and you're in.

Also, as Juve are in more competitions this year, depth is ABSOLUTELY necessary for success. Backups will get chances. Buying like this only shows that Conte is serious about contending in the Champions League.

It's called depth. We definitely won't be as fortunate as we were with injuries and we're going to play many more games and our players are going to have much less rest than they did last season. That's why we bought so many back-up players.

For the first time in a while we have true quality depth. Keeping players happy isn't too hard with a good wage and decent rotation. And some players can make the choice to play second fiddle to players like Pirlo or go elsewhere and compete for nothing but lower league places.
