That game still pisses me off, our tactic's were awful that day....
Mancini is underrated in this forum IMO.... going into this season not everyone would have switched to a 4-2-2-2 with fullbacks providing width and Midfielder's dropping deep and 2 striker's and 2 attacking midfielders constantly moving and make it work.
The money excuse is quite frankly an easy one to make and a poor one, does Mourinho's successes not count then? and does Guardiola's not count because he has some of the best players in the world to work with?

Give SAF the funds Mancini had last summer & the luck City had with injuries to key players last season and we would have wrapped up the BPL by Christmas.
