Claudio Marchisio

A quiet shout out to one of the best central midfielders(MOTM vs spain). He is one of those players who is good in every category not necessarily the best but really good. He has played every min of every game for italy and i am quite sure he has ran the most. A goal would surely cap it off.

Did you even read what i wrote or just mouthing off? i said motm vs spain. He brings energy to Italy ( he ran the most) and he has played 480 mins in this euros. Not Motm obviously.

i admit, that he has been really ignored hero. i wouldnt say he had like a perfect individual performance like pirlo is having, but his self-sacrifice for the cause of the team is amazing. i mean seriously covering every blade of grass, same goes to montolivo and de rossi.

italy has stunning balance in defense, midfield and attacking department, thank god prandelli has done marvellous job.


i am impressed with marchisio growth though, i hate to admit as a milan fan, that conte has been a huge mentor behind this.

It's a shame that he goes really unnoticed, the amount of hard work he does for the team is great.

I know Prandelli has done a great job but i think some credit should go to Conte as well
This Italy NT is basically modelled on Conte's Juventus imo.

lol... in terms of tactics and gameplan no mate, but in terms of mentality definitely yes. bonucci barzagli marchisio has blueprinted that mentality and has used for themselves in this tournament.

actually i am surprised bonucci is probably the best CB for italy atm in this tournament.
