According to Milan Channel, Flamini has renewed for one more year and he will earn 1.6mil......... So here is Mr. X UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm disappointed, however at the very least he has accepted a very significant reduction in his wages. As long as this doesn't preclude the arrival of another midfielder, a one year extension isn't devastating news, though it's disappointing that we're never going to get a transfer fee out of him, given his potential use to another club. I'd have preferred Aquilani, of course. I want Flamini to leave, however given how many other players have departed, I can't expect a full clean sweep in one market and so I'm not particularly disappointed. Hopefully he responds with his best season in our shirt, if not, he'll keep the numbers up, rest Nocerino when he needs it and then we'll find a replacement through the course of the season or in the market next year.

One thing must change with Flamini, and that is his tackling-stupidity on the field, it makes the whole team look bad. Its like he wants to emulate Scholes or something, but without the technique.
