England - Marks out of 10 so far?

England face Italy this weekend and if, touch wood, we win then Germany's up next. I personally think we're more than capable of beating Italy and whilst Germany will provide more of a challenge we'll give em a far better run for their money than anyone has so far.

Here's an article analysing each player's performance at the Euros so far, who does everyone else reckon has performed the best for us so far?

Should Milner be given yet one more chance to perform, sure the boy can run but little else it would seem...

I would give an 8.5

MIlner should not start, oxlade should

We'll win this one easily, especially against defensive Itally full of 2nd class team(juventus) player.

Personally, I think if Milner gets 5 so should chamberlain and ashley young those 3 have been the worse.

Parker is his average combative self and deserves 6.
Hart could save the goal from nasri, let in 2 vs melborg and had a good game vs ukraine he deserves 6.
Terry got manhandled vs ibra he deserves 6 as he redeemed himself vs ukraine.
Lescott 6, average slow defender performing better then expected tho.
Johnson & cole 6 not the best tournament for both of these 2 even tho johnson played better in the last match.

Gerrard 7, played really well last match and has been one of the better players
Welbeck 6, gives a lot of energy and took his goal well, but not much else other than that.
Carroll 6, Looks ready for the challenge, took his rare chance well tbh
Walcott 7, His cameo was amazing, the stand out player with flair for england so far but featured to little for my liking

I think as a team effort they get around 6/10 which is above average for me
and have a good chance against Italy, but Italy might be England's sternest test yet as well.

I'd say 7.5 overall. Gerrard's done well in midfield and Parker's played alright too. Also Walcott should start at RW instead of Milner.

I believe England's style of play is inefficient. They tend to lose possession far too often and their movements let opposition players close them down too easily.

I think they can perform way better.

Carrol is way better than Balotelli miles better. Parker is the real maestro have you seen his passes! England's midfield is milessssssssssssssssssss better than Italy's.

England is the best team in the world right now. Full of class. So fun to watch. Way better than slow and boring Italy.

England outplayed every team they faced, simply fantastic in every game but so unlucky against France.

If not for that draw it would be a 10/10 from me. Luck is a very important thing to have to win a big tournament and the England team seem to not have it.
