Yes well, I was concentrating more on naming the players who will start than on formation. But we'll see what happens. BR had just the right players for 433 at Swansea, not so much in Liverpool as of now.

Replace Downing and Henderson and that's actually a decent side. I expect a 4-3-3 as well which would mean you only need one wide player if you play Carroll in the middle and suarez in one of the wider positions.

I think Liverpool will buy players this summer. I doubt it'll be the same squad next season.

BR loves Cole for some reason so we maybe seeing as a starter ahead of Hendo/Downing.

Cole has neither the pace nor the stamina for a wide role in Rodgers' system. IF he stays, it's almost certainly as depth for the CAM spot.

Henderson was good this season. If you didnt watch all the games to see his quality in every other game, Its not my fault.

Don't know why you're linking this to Chelsea's midfield. What has that got to so with Henderson?

Anyway, nobody is looking for goals and assists. Xavi has a poor assist and goals record for a player of his caliber but nobody judges him based on that. Just an example.

Besides, is Henderson a natural CAM/Winger? If he is then I can see why some may try to judge him on his goals and assists record.

That's what he meant, he's an CM so goals and assists stats aren't really relevant. I think most of us have watched enough of Hendo to have our opinions about him.

I personally don't rate him. Imo, he's just a decent CM by BPL's standard. Decent as in 'mid range'.

We all know how BPL's midfield standard compares to other European leagues.

Henderson/Jonjo will rise like a Phoenix and punish you all

I rate Jonjo as a talent, he has impressed me..... but i'm sorry Henderson should'nt be playing for Liverpool he is simply not good enough for where you want to be as is Downing, Adam and Carroll.

Although Carroll could be a decent bench option.

I saw Henderson a few times last season. He is not as bad you make it sound Mole. Liverpool need a good finisher more than anything as that is their main problem. Henderson is a good player. Let us give him some more time.

I don't share Red's interpretation of him as a CAM, but I see potential for him as CM/B2B...he's impressed me with his versatility, relatively developed passing and control in tight spaces and shows initiative with his final ball.

I think he had a tough first year being played out of position in the wings and as a AM but I see why they bought him...(not why they paid 20 million , but whatever).

To compare him to Downing , A 28 year old career average winger whose best years were in the championship with no room for improvement whatsoever , is just taking things too far.
