He is, I remember in FIFA 08 he developed into the best LB in the world for BVB.
If only that wre true in real life...

According to fcbayern.de the lineup was this:
Starke (46. Raeder) - Rafinha, Van Buyten (46. Rankovic), Dante, Vrzogic (46. Friesenbichler) - Can, Gustavo (73. Wein) - Weiser (62. Schmitz), Alaba, Markoutz - Shaqiri
I guess that makes more sense. ^^

FC Bayern Munchen vs Trentino-Auswah
Full time: Trentino XI 0-11 Bayern Munich — Markoutz (2), Robben (3), Mandzukic, Alaba, Friesenbichler (3), Pizarro
As a welcome change from the punishing training workouts of the past few days, the squad contested the third warm-up match of the pre-season period on Tuesday evening. In a match against a Trentino Regional XI staged at the stadium in Arco near Lake Garda, the Bundesliga giants delighted the 2,750 crowd with an entertaining and highly watchable 11-0 victory.
Jupp Heynckes handed summer signing Mario Mandzukic a first start in FCB colours, and the Croatian marked his debut with the goal to make it 4-0 after 20 minutes. Mario was pleased afterwards: "Scoring gave me a good feeling, but we played well overall. Any goals from me aren't the most important thing." Prodigal son Claudio Pizarro also found the net for his former and new club, rounding off the scoring after 79 minutes.
Once play commenced, youngster Oliver Markoutz fired the visitors into a sixth-minute lead from 16 yards, and the 17-year-old Austrian followed that up with his second goal five minutes later. However, Bayern's top scorer before half-time was Arjen Robben, who scored a hat-trick on 10, 34 and 43 minutes. The Dutchman only resumed training on Sunday, but his third to make the score 5-0, a curling cross-shot into the corner of the net, drew noisy applause from the crowd.
The men in red looked lively and committed on the evening, although it was also obvious that the squad is currently in the middle of a fitness rather than tactics-oriented training programme. As a result, the outclassed but courageous part-timers from Trentino fashioned a gilt-edged chance after a 38th minute corner, but Dante somehow hacked the ball clear off the line.
Pizarro then came on for the second half to make his second debut in a Bayern shirt. The Peruvian took over from Xherdan Shaqiri in the hole, supporting fellow sub Kevin Friesenbichler at centre-forward. Heynckes in fact made the full eleven changes at the break, bringing on a clutch of youngsters but also first-team contenders such as Rafinha, David Alaba, Diego Contento and Mitchell Weiser. Robben and company went straight to the showers.
The 'new' FCB team maintained their comfortable dominance, Alaba scoring the first goal of the second period on 52 minutes. Alaba's fellow Austrian Friesenbichler then stepped into the limelight, the talented youth striker helping himself to a fine hat-trick (54, 64, 66). It was left to Pizarro to wrap up a good evening's entertainment with 11 minutes to play.

Friendly Match
FC Bayern München v SSC Napoli
Stadium: Municipal Stadium (Arco, Trentino)
Kick-off: Friday, 20 July 2012, 18.30h
ROME — Bayern Munich fell 3-2 to Napoli in the final match of the Bavarians' pre-season training camp on the banks of Lake Garda in Italy on Friday.
Napoli succeeded where they had twice failed in last season's Champions League group phase, having been held to a 1-1 draw at home before losing 3-2 in the return match in Munich.
Young Austrian David Alaba opened the scoring for beaten Champions League finalists Bayern in the 17th minute, with Paolo Cannavaro equalising shortly before half-time.
New signing Xherdan Shaqiri equalised for Bayern after Macedonian striker Goran Pandev had put Napoli 2-1 up, only for 21-year-old forward Lorenzo Insigne to claim the winner for the Italians with seven minutes remaining.
Bayern were missing their eight Germany internationals, who are still on holiday after Euro 2012, as well as France winger Franck Ribery, who has resumed pre-season training on his own in Munich.
Jupp Heynckes' side will fly to China on Sunday for two friendly matches: against Beijing Guoan in Beijing on July 24 and then Wolfsburg in Canton on July 26.

Tymo-Gustavo can't work.
Re: Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13.
That's actually not bad considering the team we had out there. The defense was all second choice and Tymo-Gustavo can't dominate midfields.
Napoli ain't a bad team, either, so good result.

Re: Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13.
Unimpressed with many guys. Starke is complete Garbage. I would rather pay 2-3M for Drobny. Or play anyone from the reserves.
Dante is over-hyped & average & got noticed because he is at Gladback. Dante-Boateng is a rubbish line up because none of them can pass very well which is where Bads comes in. So not really a starting candidate.
Rafinha is again utterly rubbish. Would like to Weiser being tried at RB atleast.
Contento is at best Mid-Table BL team player.
Tymo is finished as is DVB.
Gustavo well does not have the passing range a Bayern mid-fielder has which is why I want Tymo shipped out & a new Creative DM/CM being bought.
I like Manduzkic's movement even though its obvious he is no Bomb ST whatsoever.
Shaqiri with a great FK but average otherwise.
Robben was intially good then predictable.
I donno, even with so many new players nothing Fresh & BIG has been injected into the team.
Jupp has to do something. How about
Ribery Robben Shaqiri
Kroos Gustavo Schweni
Alaba Bads Boateng Lahm
Neuer
IF Gomez flops in big matches & becomes invisible, how about trying this line up. Robben is 1 legged player & if he cant be played LW give him a central role.

Cut the crap about Dante and Boateng not able to pass, for goodness sake it's not their duty to pass. Starke is decent and he wouldn't be getting much playing time, Contento is developing well as we can all see.
The team was made up of new players who haven't played together, so what do you expect..? it's a freaky friendlies

Re: Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13.
My view is not based on this match but in general. Both Dante & Boateng cant pass & you cant play with 2 CB's like that, not in Bayern. Ideally in Bayern you need 2 Ball Playing CB's & Neuer but 1 like Boateng with his speed & strength is allowable not another inferior version in Dante. Dante is an all-right back-up.
Contento is was & will be a Mid Table level. Always has been. He is 0 in Attack & he had nothing to defend against Chelsea so I dont get the good game comment.
Starke,I always rated him as shit & he still is.
I did not bash up Gustavo but I thought both him & Tymo were as bad as each other. Tymo being older, slower & a worse passer gets more negative comments from my side.

Re: Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13.
Ok I honestly agree with you that Starke is absolute shit based on what I saw in that friendly, but I'm happy he won't get any playing time and also he could learn from Neuer and eventually improve his reflex and reaction. Terrible show off against Napoli even for a friendly match.
Mandzukic was the flop of the match, I'm wondering why you didn't bash him, anyways Dante will prove to be a better defender than you think he is, I have faith in him, he's ambitious and wants to break into the Brazil national team and he knows doing this will mean he has to play at top level with Bayern.
As for Boateng I don't get your fuse about him, he's fast tall and strong and to be honest with you Boateng is not a bad passer, he's exemptionally good with Crossing, it's just that he's not exemptionally good with passing but he's still a very good passer, so get your fact straight.
I'm starting to feel that you are not really a Bayern fan...But you just want to be part of us, because you know in the next few years, we'll be right on top of the football world, and after us nothing else come on top, even Barcelona and Madrid will be 2 level below us.

I dont give 2 sh*ts whether or not you consider me a Bayern fan or not. I dont care. Got nothing to prove. Barca & Madrid will never ever be 2 level below us. I will be happy to even with the CHL once, forget 2ce in 3 years like Barca.
Anyways back to the point. Boateng is an ABSOLUTELY CRAPPY crosser. This I am certain. Reasonably allright passer but given we have Neuer & Bads to build up attack he sticks out like a sore thump. But with his speed & physicallity he kind of makes up for it.
And please dont type ridiculous things. You dont improve Reflex at 31-32 years of age suddenly be seeing & learning.
As for Dante & his ambition, his business, from what I see he is a typhical upper mid-table bulldozing CB who makes mistakes sometimes & has very little passing range.

Re: Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13.
Shaqiri has to work hard & deliver week in & out. His FK was absolutely Out-Standing. But that is all he did in that match. Against Dortmund if he misses any decent chance or is invisible,he will be crucified.
This is FC Bayern. I hope next year we will bring in another Winger,Bomb ST,Good CB, Creative DM & Another CM & a new LB & ship put Contento.
This is needed to challenge Barca & Madrid in terms of depth. We have had a marginal increase in depth quality. What we need is a substantial increase.
For that I hope we get another CM like Sahin,A DM like Lars Bender this season with the "Martinez" money, maybe add in a Afellay who can play LW/RWL/CAM & CM. SO that will be good depth in 40M odd.
