Lets hope we get 2 more Guys. 1 ST & 1 Midfielder. I am against paying 40M for anyone but we need more players incase of depth & quality subs so that if someone has an off game he can be taken off not Pranjic or Usami in the bench.

The 1st Team looks Like a Boss as usual. Chelsea's luck has run out. City will get stronger & Madrid-Barca will be in the mix as well. Realistically those are the 4 team competing for CHL(those 3 & us).

I am looking forward to the Dortmund tie. Another Trophy at stake,we have lost 5. Lets stop the arrogant talk & accept they are the Favourites & we are the under-dogs. Let them attack us. We have no obligation to leave open our defense to prove our superiorty.

Shaqiri will get soon Robben's place in the first eleven if you don't buy someone better which wouldn't make sense at all.

I hope he does. Its in Bayern's best interests to get Young Players who can fill big boots. But it will be hard. We are not talking about above average players like Van Persie or Fabregas shining for a team which fights for 3rd place in here.

The pressue of Bayern is very different. I dont expect much from Shaqiri this season. Ultimately he is a Swiss League player & his stats are not extra-ordinary & he will be compared to Robben & Ribery after every game. He is being compared to perhaps the 2 Best Wingers in the last 10 years of Football & one of the Best Wing Duo of all times.

His misses will be highlighted & failures will be glorified. The pressure of playing at Bayern is very difficult.

I am giving him 2 years. 2 years to take Robben's spot. Given Robben's injury History & his age I think its fair to expect a Young to challenge for his place.

Anyways as far as I know Robben when he signed his Last Contract made sure that he will be a Starter & its rumoured he has a MUST PLAY clause in his contract & that he could leave if he is dropped continously.

Robben will bounce back and hit top form, we all know what he's capable off.

But I hope Robben can learn from Ribery and try to adopt a new styles, Perhaps we could play him on the left to make it more difficult for opposition to predict him.

Lets not forget that Overall Robben had a good season, but the only games where he flopped and disappointed just happened to be the most important ones, overall he's still a good player and will remain as a starter for Bayern Munchen.

If anyone is to replace Robben Anytime soon I'll like to say that person is no other but Thomas Muller, he brings a lot to the game that Robben can not offer, he's unselfish, defend nicely and give good passes.

Shaqiri I can not comment much about him, but I have high expectation on him, I can not remember the last time a football club spent so much money on a 19 years old winger, I'm happy that he can play more than one position and can also play as a right-back(so I heard).

it's good to know when you look at Bayern Munchen you see world-class players like Arjen Robben and Ribery as first team starter, then when you look deeper you also see world class players like Muller and Kroos Ready to pounce on starting eleven and claim the position for themselves.

I like Shaqiri, he's there to take over from Robben and Ribery in few years time, then you have Weiser who can play in different position and has been hailed as the next Daniel Alves.

I'm really happy with this team, I am happy we've 2 of the best wingers in the world, I'm happy we signed Pizarro and Dante to add experience to the team, I'm happy we have young lads like Emre Can coming from our youth system.

The only thing I'm unhappy with is Matt Hummels, fatal mistake and I hope one of these days we're able to bring our boy back home that was stolen from us by Borrusia Buttmound

I totally agree with most part of this, but I don't think the board will be stupid enough to spend £40m on one one player, but also we have to buy good players and good player usually comes at high prices, you don't see the likes of Khedirah, Vidal and Oezil transfer fee lying around every now and then.

When I look at the transfer market it's difficult to see those 2 ideal cheap players to take Weiser and Emre Can Position in the alternative formation, most cheap player don't have that quality.

The Ideal transfer for me are.

CM/DM: Martinez, M'Vila, Cabaye, Inler, Hamsik, and Moutinho.

None of this player will come for cheap prices, we will end up spending at least 20million to land any of those players.

But if he have to go for cheaper player just for bench purpose then we might end up again with the likes of Pranjic, but if we have to take that risk then I will suggest someone like Alou Diarra, I've enjoyed the way he had played so far in Euro cup but he's no where near a creative CD/DM so we'll end up with another Tymo, when we already have Gustavo. the only good thing is that he developed in our youth academy but overall he's 30years old and we don't need more old player, we already have Van Buyten and Tymo.

Another thing is that instead of signing 2nd class cheap player like Diarra, why don't we just spend big on someone like Martinez, who is only 23 and just like Robben and Ribery we'll not be in the transfer market looking for more players, which will save us more money in the foreseeable future.

As for the striker the only quality player out there that is good enough for our bench and alternative team is no other but Dzeko, it's all in Man City hands now, if they accept the reasonable offer we've presented them with then I say we get him, otherwise we can just forget about their stupid demand of Thomas Muller and 5million.

In the end Manchester City will be forced to sell Dzeko Anyways, they don't need him, they already have about 7 strikers and will have no choice but to sell him, if they persist I suggest we wait until like August when they will be desperate to sell him for anything along with the like of Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Guidetti etc.

In
Martinez and Dzeko

I have been saying about Hummels when you were doing flip flops. I blame both the board & Hummels. Hummels has no loyalty,he was playing in his street side ground & we made him into a footballer & he got to Dortmund through us. Cesc is crying for Barca & look at Hummels. He is always butthurt, like a sore baby who father has scorned at him. I think he will die a man with grudges.

The board could have done a lot. They were pubclity going gaga for Goetze & Reus who were not going to come. If they had given the same attention to Hummels, who knows.

I am against 40M for an unproven player like Martinez simply because we spend 25M each for Robbery & 35M for Gomez. If we break out record it should not be on a DM & certainly not one who is a complete rookie at the grand stage(WC,Euros,CHL,etc).

With 40M he has to guaranteed a Starting Line up too,Bayern dont spend that much for rotational players & I am against Gustavo getting permanently benched. IMO kroos, basti, tymo, gustavo are enough with Can. We could do with a proper CAM or a LW. I dont know why Heyneckes is so insistent on Martinez. We need a ST & they are plenty of good ST's available for 25M. Look at what Cisse is doing at NewCastle. Bayern board should stop being so obsessed over 1 player & behave arrogantly with others.

Can & Wieser wont go on Loan because no one will play him. They will get 0 minutes. Wieser got 10 minutes in the whole season & Can had half a seaoson with the 4th Division. I think its in their best interests to play 35 Matches a season with Reserves & train with the Pros.

Hopefully Heyneckes will give them Cup matches or 6-0 kind of matches being subbed in at 75th minute odd. I want another ST which is a must. These guys will be burned out after Euros & Dortmund will again humiliate us.

I dont trust on Shaqiri at the most. He is like a rookie in man's game. Loads of talent but this is Bayern. He will play with Bayern against a Messi. No 1 goal in 4 matches against average team & that becomes a Youtube hit.

Here if he does 1 Mistake he will buried World Wide. I hope he can take the pressure. And you are right Idro, with Guidetti & Adebayor coming back City will sell Dzeko around 20-22M if we WAIT & WATCH.

And if Bayern Board want to pay 8-9M wage for a ST to play with Gomez( a different kind of ST) then they can go for RVP. I dislike him but he is complete anti-Gomez. Never stays with the box, physically not that strong, not that good a goal-scorer. But as a ST sick skills & tremendous technically. He will be available for 25-28M I think,30M at best.

His father has said he will not go to any other London Club or City or Barca or Madrid. So that leagues him a dying Seria A where they cant afford his wages, PSG kind of club or Bayern. Or make a 30M bid for Cavani. Or Worst case Suarez for 25M. These are all skilled technical players who can play with Gomez in a 4-4-2 & as a 1 ST & can open up space for other guys with beautiful passes.

Although with Suarez's racial abuse history he will not be popular candidate.

To begin with I don't know what you have been saying about Hummels and I don't see any link between Hummels and me being upset with Robben missing two crucial penalties and ballooning away clear cut chances.

You need to get your fact straight dude.

Every single Bayern fan in the world wants Hummels back at Bayern, and we are still very upset with the way our board handled Hummels career with Bayern Munchen, there is no denying it the Board treated Hummels Badly, he was good enough to start featuring as our backup CB, when we had Demichelis, Lucio and Van Buyten, but instead we bought Breno and sent him out on loan to Dortmund and at the end of it all we sold him for peanut abandoning our policy of holding on to our youth players..

That was a fatal mistake and I can't blame Hummels for being upset with us, and to be honest his case is different from that of Fabregas and it's not like we're Barcelona and Dortmund is Arsenal who haven't won any major trophy in ages. Fabregas left Arsenal to win trophies, unlike Hummels who is busy winning more trophies with Dortmund than he would have with us.

Anyways if I can remember Hummels had clearly stated that at some point in the foreseeable future he'll like to come back to Bayern and prove himself so I don't think he's that upset with Bayern or hold strong grudges against us like you are trying to make it seems.

Kingofeverythingclassy wrote:The board could have done a lot. They were pubclity going gaga for Goetze & Reus who were not going to come. If they had given the same attention to Hummels, who knows.

The board publicly went after Hummels before Dortmund board managed to convince him to extend his Contract, even after we tried to bully them with the buyout clause.

Kingofeverythingclassy wrote:I am against 40M for an unproven player like Martinez simply because we spend 25M each for Robbery & 35M for Gomez. If we break out record it should not be on a DM & certainly not one who is a complete rookie at the grand stage(WC,Euros,CHL,etc).

No one is stupid enough to buy him for 40m(come on get your act together) haven't you heard of buyout clause, transfer strategy. However if we play our cards right we'll get him for 25million which is ok for a player of his quality, and also time has change we bought Ribery 5years ago for 25million and Robben 3 years ago for 25million(not to mention Madrid were desperate to sell him)

So it's a different scenario, we are after a top player that the club are in no haste to sell.

Kingofeverythingclassy wrote:With 40M he has to guaranteed a Starting Line up too,Bayern dont spend that much for rotational players & I am against Gustavo getting permanently benched. To be honest I don't feel comfortable with Schweini, Gustavo, Kroos and Tymo as our DM. Kroos is no way a pure DM, also Tymo and Gustavo can not play together and Kroos and Schweini can not play together, so all in all we have good CM/DM however 2 of them are extra defensive and 2 of them are extra offensive so in any-case we need another top CM/DM to balance everything out, someone like Martinez, who can play as CM and DM, someone that can break attack and also spring attack, hold the ball and also very physical.

You just simply have to look back at Schweini injury last year and how it affected us, Kroos-Gustavo could not play together and also things became worst when Tymo got suspended, to cut the long story short we definitely need another CM/DM and we need someone with quality, someone as good as Gustavo.

Also in this scenario Kroos will concentrate More as AM, which also means more attacking players instead of pulling Kroos back as CM and weakening our attack and also the money that will be used on another LW can simply be put towards signing the Bomb striker, since Muller and Shaqiri will now be available to play as LW when needed.

and yeah, JH is interested in Martinez because he's a quality player that can improve our team and will finally allow us win cpl once and for-all and also settling our scores with pathetic inferior Buttmound.

Kingofeverythingclassy wrote: We need a ST & they are plenty of good ST's available for 25M. Look at wha t Cisse is doing at NewCastle. Bayern board should stop being so obsessed over 1 player & behave arrogantly with others.

There are no good striker out there available for 25million, the only good striker I can see that is available for less than 25million if we play our cards right is no other but Dzeko and yes he's better than Cisse, you just simply have to look back at their times in bundesliga.

Dzeko will fits our style perfectly, he can speak German he's bundesliga proven and who says Dzeko and Gomez can not play together in 442, we'll put it into test. I rather have Dzeko-Gomez than any other mediocre striker with different style.

Thought of Dzeko-Gomez playing upfront with Ribery/Muller/Robben/Shaqiri as winger and Kroos/Schweini/Martinez/Gustavo/Tymo as CM/DM sort of scares me to death at times, I'm a Bayern fan but sometimes thinking about this makes me feel sorry for Bundesliga and Champions league teams to be honest with you, I'm still trying to figure out how any team in the world will be able to contain us when we also have Neuer as our GK, Lahm/Alaba/Contento/Rafinha as Fullback and Dante/Boateng/Badstuber/Van Buyten as CB.

There is no stopping us next season, if we sign Dzeko and Martinez, I'm sorry.

Dzeko is World-class and Martinez is also worldclass.

But that depend on the team will send them to, we can send them out on loan to 2nd division team or newly promoted team and I'm sure they will make starting eleven and of course will gain more experience with competitive matches, I'm certain Can will make starting line-up of newly promoted teams in bundesliga and even team such as Ausburgs ain't that bad.

Dortmund will not humiliate us, they are still inferior to us and to be honest by next season I'm worried how we'll beat them so hard and easily that the whole world will stop watching bundesliga again because of Bayern hate. reason being, by then our manager JH would have settled in perfectly and of course we'll have an improve team with improve bench

Yes Shaqiri will not disappoint, don't get scared that he'll take over Robben spots, not yet but I expect him to do it if Robben doesn't manage to get his act together.

Shaqiri is not only a talented player but he's an extremely talented player with a lot of potential even better than Hazard and Kagawa etc, he was Switzerland best player at just 20 and of course we all saw what he did against Manchester United and Wayne Rooney as well as against England and he's only 20, future world player of the year, cpl winner, bundesliga winner, German cup winner along with King Kroos, Alaba, Contento, Muller, etc I don't have to mention them all or do I..? Boateng, Badstuber and of Gustavo.

Shaqiri has a lot to prove and when he arrives he'll tear pathetic teams like BMG, Bremen, Schalke and Chelsea aside and expect no mistakes at least not as much as Robben's mistakes

Kingofeverythingclassy wrote: And you are right Idro, with Guidetti & Adebayor coming back City will sell Dzeko around 20-22M if we WAIT & WATCH.

Yeah I'm always right, if we play our cards right we'll get Dzeko for cheap, lets not forget City and his agent are the ones who first offered him to us, they currently have 7 striker with high wages and it's clear they will want to get rid of Dzeko by Augusts latest.

No we don't want Van Persie, reason being

1: he's Dutch and we've had enough with Dutch players and coaches, Van Bommel was the best so far but yet he also turned his back on us when he left us for Milan and suggested that Robben leaves Bayern and off course insulting die-hard Bayern fans like myself. who gave him the audacity to talk to Bayern fans in such manners.

2: Van Persie is too injury prone, we already have Robben and we're still trying to deal with him, you don't want to pay player just to sit half the season without playing.

3: Van Persie can not speak German

4: Van Persie is not good enough for Bayern

5: Dzeko is 2years younger than Van Persie, can speak German, has played in Bundesliga, he's Bosnia mine god and he's no Dutch.

Suarez is a racist and will never step his foot in Bayern, otherwise he will get beaten up by Boateng, Gustavo, Alaba, Badstuber, Muller and Ribery.

We have fighters in our team as well and he'll not come here to bite but to get beaten

Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13. Empty Re: Bayern Munchen Starting Eleven/Formation, Fixture and Results, 2012-13.

Post by Kingofeverythingclassy Sat Jun 16, 2012 10:49 am

I dont think Suarez is racist. Come on Messi refused to shake Drenthe's hand & continously called him Negrito. If he is hailed, why not Suarez.

Other than Our fortunes turned completely when we signed LVG,I dont get the Dutch hate.

Mark Van Bommel was Sold Forcibly to Milan by LVG & he never wanted to LVG. Mark is the captain of the NT & despite being an average player he is a true leader. He looks after all the players & stands up for them. He said that because Bayern fans were stupidly booing Robben, something for which RUmmenigge aplogized & most Bayern fans themselves apologized on behalf of the retards who did that. Also Schikeria were not involved as they dont go to Commercial matches like these.

Anyways Mark's comments dont mean anything as he is an outsider & if Robben can digest all that & happily come to play then its none of Mark's business.

Other than that I find it weird that you say Dzeko is World Class. Dzeko is a good ST,however times change, the league is a lot tougher now & Dzeko has not lit the CHL in fire. I rate Dzeko as a good ST nothing more.

I dont get how duds like Matias Suarez & Mathiew become great players when they get linked to Bayern. You have to stop exaggerating sometimes.

As someone who has seen Piggy play, I can safely say that Kroos is completely Piggy Part 2. In 2-3 years he will be a complete CM. 1 Year back he could not defend & he's made good improvements since then.

I see you mentioned a 4-4-2. Then where does Kroos,Piggy fit. I think its better in a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1. Piggy is a guaranteed starter. Also I think against teams like Dusseldorf its better to field with both Piggy & Kroos as CM.

If Martinez was available for 25M,he would have been bought. Real,City have big interests. City have bit 20 million pounds which is 25M Euros+. This will create a bidding war. Look Bielsa made his contract extension & I think he demanded Llorente & Martinez staying.

If he they go his release clause of 40M have to be met. His agent said this. Bilbao dont buy foreign or Spanish players in bundles, they scout in 1 specific region & their players are loyal. Add to them possible agent fees in a transfer.

This will be a 35-40M Huge transfer.

I also think Dzeko-Gomez will be a DUD. Just my personal opinion. They are too similar,Dzeko has slightly better technique. None of them are ridiculously fast with great dribbling, superb vision & ability to score outside of the box on a regular basis.

4-4-2 means 2 Holding Players. We are used to 3 Central Mid-fielders which gives your formation more defensive stability. It allows Lahm Alaba to join Robbery at attack much more.

BTW I still dont think Martinez is better than Gustavo. You are behaving as if Martinez is like Yaya. Gustavo marked Ozil out of the 2nd Leg & Sneijder out of the 1st last year. He is good player. Martinez is more of a DM who attacks a bit. He is a not CM like Schweni.

I dont think he will make a major difference to the team. I would rather go for a CAM & push Kroos to CM. A fast technical one like Ozil & a 2nd ST who can play CAM or LW & is very creative.

You really think Ribéry would need help for that? Razz

looool

Ribery looks quite strong, you know. Suarez stand no chance against him.

TBH, I understand what you mean and I would ignore most of my previous post and wouldn't take it too seriously as it was done for *lulz* But I meant some part.

I understand why the coach needs another CM/DM and I've already explained that. Kroos is too offensive and even Schweini needs a defensive partner, Gustavo and Tymo can not work together(too defensive) so we need another CM/DM someone like Vidal, Martinez etc to balance the midfield so we can finally avoid the types of problem that occurred when Schweini was injured last season..

I agree that Martinez is not better than Gustavo as a destroyer, but that is not what this is all about, we need someone to balance our tactic, we need that missing link to balance the link between our DM and CM and the ideal person would've been Vidal but unfortunately envious Voller did the worst he could possibly do and refused to sell to us, even after we gave them Tony Cruz for 2 years.

Martinez say for example can play alongside

Schweini-Martinez

Gustavo-Martinez

Kroos-Martinez

Tymo Martinez

But Gustavo, Schweini, Kroos and Tymo can barely play alongside each other.

Also pushing Kroos back will be a detriment to our attack, since we will have only Muller as our AM, which also means we'll only have Shaqiri to cover the wings, so it's a bad ideal to Push Kroos back who is already a perfect 10, why don't we just leave him there and buy CM/DM.

As for Dzeko I'm pretty sure he'll be our bomb striker so I'll not be bothered about that discussion.

I never exaggerated Matias Suarez, I only wanted him as Ribery back-up as well as 3rd choice striker behind Gomez and Dzeko, and of course he's a good player.

Regarding our formation, it's not that I'm suggesting 442 as our stanbdard formation, I've never suggested that. But we all saw how we destroyed Basel when we used 442 in cpl 1st knock-out round, they couldn't withstand the brilliance of Muller-Gomez upfront, as a result they got turned apart.

We already have Muller and even Robben who I believe can play as striker alongside Gomez and Dzeko if we really need a striker with different style.

So having,Gomez, Dzeko, Muller, Pizarro and Robben as our striker isn't a bad ideal only if our coach is tactical enough and have the balls to try different things like they do in Spain.

Lastly you must look and think for the last 2 seasons what has the 4-2-3-1 formation actually won Bayern?

Nothing...

Not bad... nice to see the board attacking our key weakness which is depth. Nice depth all around, all I could ask for is for another midfielder now that Alaba is our starting LB.

Dortmund have a quality squad, but will suffer if they go further into CL stages due to having the same problem we had last season: very little depth.

That we couldn't frakking beat them not once in 5 games is complete horseshit, though...
