Why lol@Juve? That means they actually field Italian players which is laudable.

I just find it funny that for a big club like Juventus 7 of their players only plays for 1 nation, I don't know if it's a benefit or detriment but I laughed at it Anyways.
and you know what is worst...
Inter-Milan and Benfica.....lol no European love
respect to Everton as well
I like when football club mixed things up, but still manage to produce enough players for their National team.

I agree with RWO.
But let's say I disagreed for some reason...
Bayern have 13 players from 5 nations. So is that 9 German squad members?
I don't understand why that is bad, but you can't deny the hypocrisy.

Don't get this.
We only have 8 German international and the remaining 5 are among the best in their country.
Ribery Best in France
Robben best in Netherlands
Tymo Ukraine Goat and Captain
Olic/Pranji for Croatia

Surprised we have so many, most of our foreign players, like most Serie A teams, are from South America.

I don't get the lol @ Juve thing. What's funny about them having 7 Italian International level players in their team? It's not like Juve don't have great players from countries not in Euro 2012, or even in Europe. Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Vucinic, etc. Btw, Sheva is Ukraine's GOAT, not TymoThe Messiah wrote:Forza Rossoneri wrote:I agree with RWO.

Reason why Italian league is losing it's value in recent years.
All the corruption isn't helping matters at all.
A lot of changes needs to be made from grass root, e.g like taking out the Mafia and concentrating on youth system
Anyways Italy youth system has really improved in recent years

I've already explained the reason why I find it funny that Juventus 7 players only plays for Italy, I don't think it's a good thing, you need to mix it up a bit.
Anyways, Tymo was voted as Ukraine Goat by Ukrainian.
I'm not in argument mode today, just thought I point that out.

Really, I like South American players. I don't think they decrease value, they increase it.

2006- Italy; Juventus contributed 5 players to the national squad
2012- Italy; Juventus contributes 7
Yeah, I agree- it is definitely that two player increase that really highlights the downgrade in quality over this time

That list was made a 29/5/12 so it includes Lampard and Cahill in the English side, with them out Chelsea now only have 7 at the Euros and Liverpool would have 9 with the replacments

I think we've got 8 players, but not in four nations as the list suggest.
Six for England plus Agger for Denmark and Reina for Spain. Kuyt's no longer our player.

I think we are discussing NT performances & sadly Ribery has been a flop for France in recent times, nowhere near the best. But he did Very very well in the friendlies & I hope he does well.
Robben is not the undisputed Best, its between Robben & Sneijder. It osciallates. They are both very good for the NT. However yesterday Sneijder was definitely better & created 10 Clear Cut chances something that has not been created since 1988 by any midfielder in Euros.
So I guess Robben has to settle for No.2 & permanently until he stop skying his shots which are starting to piss me off

Re: Club with at least 5 representers in Euro 2012
Individually Robben is Netherlands best player but I don't know about team player.
As for France the whole team have played badly until recently and Ribery has performed well for them...

Before the Euros probably yes because RVP & Sneijder did nothing against England & RObben single handedly won us the game & he played CHL final as well.
So its a fair choice. After last day,Sneijder hands down,Robben's shots are off the mark. But Oranje has always between Sneijder & Robben,RVP has never been that good a player for Oranje.

Re: Club with at least 5 representers in Euro 2012
Arsenal have 10 players playing in Euro 2012,if you include GODolski.
The full list of Arsenal players in Euro 2012:
Wojciech Szezcesny (Poland), Tomas Rosicky (Czech Republic), Robin van Persie (Holland), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott (England), Laurent Koscielny (France), Nicklas Bendtner (Denmark), Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski (Germany) and Andrei Arshavin (Russia),
That would make Arsenal joint-third in the list, provided the other stats are correct.
BTW,Arsenal have players from 8 different nations in Euro 2012 and not 7.
