Yeh, improving the graphics, presentation, crowd, sound effects, atmosphere etc would really make a difference.

The biggest difference I see is in the first touch.. The passing is a little different, nothing too drastic.. Playing against the CPU on PES is still 10x better imo

Just had a penalty shoot out against Arsenal, at least 4-6 kickers for them did the stutter step and then shot it right down the middle lol.. Caught on after a while and got the win

You can still do it, you just have to be at the perfect angle. Managed it a couple of times.

Lovin it so far nice subtle improvements.
Players warming up, updates on injuries, even the ref who is in charge of the subs

Matchday is a cool feature and how it updates is pretty sweet

Love the demo so far, yeah the graphics are only marginally better but the presentation is great, gameplay isn't a whole lot different but it really didn't have to be. The runs players make are more intelligent, the refs are improved, first touch control is nice.

Also I like how they fixed finesse shots, you can still do them but it's harder to score. Chips seem a little easier compared to '12.

Goalies' attempts to save the kick on PKs is a shitload better.

Blasted one with Poldi to one side which would have easily gone in 12, but Buffon made this ridiuclous dive and stopped it with his body.

Nothing pissed me off more in 12 than the goalie letting the ball fly in even though you guessed the right way.

Apparently, the FIFA demo won't be in the UK PSN store until 5pm, at least. Some saying it won't be until 10pm, at least.

Great work, Sony. Or whoever is responsible for this. :facepalm:

It's Sony, not EA.

EA would have given them the needed files when they did to Xbox but Sony are just really slow at updating their store.

Downloaded Fifa 12 from origin yesterday nice improvements control is a lot more important now Giovinco is a total beast. But i have this problem when ever i get a set piece my game auto. closes i changed settings but still does that anyone know why? Pretty sure its not my laptop its a 5.9 and the recommended setting for the game is 5. so should work smoothly. But it keeps closing when ever i get a set piece scratch

I have mixed feelings about the game so far.

On one hand, it feels more fluent when I'm passing and attacking. Off the ball runs are marginally better than last time, which is giving me more passing options. Dynamic first touch has come into play a couple of times and feels quite realistic.

On the other hand, defending is poor. Closing down space is difficult and defenders can't keep up with AI attackers. I like to think I'm a competent player when it comes to defending, but most of my tackles seem to miss completely and I'm struggling to get my defenders into good positions to intercept and tackle.

Also, and this might just be something I'm doing wrong, but most of my successful tackles seem to send the ball yards away from the tackler. This is really annoying since it prevents me from countering the opposition.

So far, overall, it's not that much different from FIFA12. It seems like a FIFA12 with more variety in animations and attack patterns, which is a good thing, but not really the big improvement I was lead to believe it would be.

Well, that's the demo, anyway. I had similar feelings to FIFA12's demo last year, but loved the full game.

Just won the ball with a great recovering tackle... was given as a penalty and my defender was sent off.
