Players you Rate that Others Don't

Basically created this thread as an excuse to praise Nilmar. Seen a few Villarreal matches this season and Nilmar is a player I really enjoy. I'm not sure if he could play the CF(lone Striker) for the very best teams in the World I think he could be very useful in a wide forward role or playing ahead of someone like Rooney at United, Sneijder at Inter,etc he's a better player than the likes of Hernandez, Rossi, Robinho etc but doesn't get anywhere near as much praise. He's got brilliant pace, knows how to move off the ball, excellent technically and doesn't afraid of anything.

Was pretty devastated he didn't get a Brazil callup this summer especially when garbage like Fred is in the squad ahead of him.

Yeah, I am with you on Nilmar without question. Would prefer to have him than Rossi, we were/are after the wrong guy at that club.

He to me is a better version of Hernandez, basically Hernandez with actual football ability when he gets it at his feet.

There are other players who are on this list for me, struggling to think at the moment.

One name though actually is John Obi Mikel. Dont get why people hate on him.

He has a job and he does it well, he doesnt ever try and do thing he cant do (something more DM's actually need to learn to do) and never over-complicated the issue. Reads the game well, is technically very sound and as said, know his role and doesnt ever come outside of it.

I would prefer him as my DM for Barca then say Alex Song to be honest.

Well... it kind of depends. People do rate Nilmar. Maybe the thread should be 'People you rate more highly than others do', because I know Nilmar is very well respected among La Liga fans.

For me, some lesser known players who I really like: Cani (Villareal), Luke Wilkshire (Dynamo Moscow).

John Obi Mikel, one of my favourite players.

Luka Modric, I feel like the only Chelsea fan that wants him.

Nilmar. Only additional attacking reinforcement I want over the summer. He's economic class. The other acquisitions should be purely defensive.

Busquets. Apart from the Barcelona fans, you wouldn't find much neutral support for that diving t**t especially from a Real Madrid fan. I think he is a fine player, cut off the same mold as Pep Guardiola himself...

Smalling. It seems all the pundits and people think he's a flop, when he's actually done really well.

From the club I support: Theo Walcott. I'm of the opinion that if he ever found himself playing up front, he'd be brilliant. Not many actually realise how intelligent he actually is without the ball.

Outside of Arsenal, I rate Chirs Samba pretty highly despite the common criticisms levelled at him.
