FT - FC Basel 1:2 CFR Cluj

As I just wrote in the Basel thread, too:

Basel was actually the more attacking side and ran towards the Cluj goal and then they allowed Cluj altogether 4 counters where practically the whole defense got totally overrun
Luckily "only" two goals for Cluj resulted from them. On the other side, Basel missed a good handful of sitters. Playing like this, a team just can't win.

It will be interesting to see if Basel can turn this around away in Cluj next week.

That was before they lost Dante, Neustädter and Reus. Dunno how Barca would fare without Pique, Xavi and Messi (that was about the importance of the aforementioned three for BMG).

@OLPower....Despite their crap European campaign, don't forget Copenhagen actually matched Barcelona in CL less than 2 years ago. If they were playing in PL, they'd be Everton. Not much technical ability, but very structured and hard to beat.

Lille don't deserve CL anyways. Last year they were in the easiest group, but came 4th. against the worst Inter side of the decade, a very weak CSKA side, and freaking Trabzonspor who wasn't even in CL at the first place. Joke of a team.
