Robben is a perfect winger, I don't care if he doesn't pass or is selfish several times that is what makes great Arjen Robben moments. It's also what brought us to thw 2010 final. Robben is a terrific winger.

As for Robben playing centrally well it isn't a good idea. He needs space and he won't get that when placed centrally...

Anyways robben cant and won't be effective central. I don't think he can distribute well, he wouldn't be able to dribble past the Cbs. The wing is where he has the most strengths.

This thread was done long ago, Yes roben can't play centrally, he relies upon his speed and cutting in alot which can only be maximized on the wings, those are his traits, and thus a player cannot be forced to change their position so drastically when they are at or some may suggest past their prime.
