which team will win the european cup?
Re: euro 2012 discussion thread
Lampard has been ruled out of the Euros.
I know it's extremely selfish of me but I'm kinda glad he won't be playing.
Gerrard will finally be exposed for the fraud he is after 10+ years of masquerading himself as a CM. No Lampard to blame this time around.
And Lampard will get a full summers rest ahead of next season.
Just a shame this is probably Lamps' last International tournament but it wasn't like England were going to get out of their group anyway.
EDIT: Jordan Henderson is his replacement.

We are f*cked without Lampard he is only our good CM not that we wasnt f*cked anyway but this just confirms it.....
Gerrard a CM? he has'nt been one for years he always relied on his physical tools and now those have left him he doesnt have the tools to play as a CM.
He also has no discipline unlike Lampard who has adapted his game over the last few years and proven he can play deeper for the good of the team.
Gerrard has'nt been able to adapt in the same fashion.
We are pretty much f*cked tbh, also can someone explain to me why Leon Osman has never been considered at any stage?
Extremely underrated player IMO.

Re: euro 2012 discussion thread
Starting XI versus Serbia tomorrow:
Lloris - Réveillère, Koscielny, Mexès, Clichy - Cabaye, M'Vila, Malouda - Nasri, Benzema, Ribéry.
Malouda lol. But Blanc said he wants to get him some PT so he regains sharpness before Euro.
We're playing with 4 B players again and experimental strategy. I wouldn't take too much out of this one. Only interesting part to me is Clichy... i hope he wins the starting LB spot from Evra lol.

More like he's seeing what the others can do as the first game showed what HBA can do.... although he did a play a bit too much with Benzema.
Plus i have been told Ben Arfa and Debuchy will come on.
I am quite suprised Blanc is'nt giving a chance to Valbuena instead of Malouda though.
Hopefully Clichy comes up strong so Evra can ride the bench lol.
If this is the system Blanc plans to use i think Ben Arfa might start against England as he offers more than Malouda, Menez and Valbuena.

Not so much. 3/4 of the defense are bench players. Malouda is never going to be a starter either. Tactically, we may be closer to what we would use in a normal game this time... but in terms of player, not close. 3/10 of the field players won't start against England for sure (i'm hoping Clichy does lol).
Blanc is using the first two games to get everyone playing time and keep them sharp.
Come fo the last game, we may... and again it's not sure... see a normal lineup.

Sports is it true that due to M'vila's form and personal troubles off the pitch over the last few months he isnt a sure starter and Blanc will test him in these friendlies?

Re: euro 2012 discussion thread
Cabaye-M'Vila will be the starting midfield. No doubt there. Only reason M'vila wasn't played in the first game was that he played 98% of all the minutes Rennes played. He was tired. Blanc also wanted to test Gourcuff.
the normal 11 would be if we play a 4-2-3-1:
Lloris
Debuchy-Rami-Mexes-Evra/Clichy
Cabaye-M'Vila
Ben Arfa-Nasri-Ribery
Benzema
If we play a 4-3-3
Lloris
Debuchy-Rami-Mexes-Evra/Clichy
Cabaye-M'Vila-Diarra
Nasri-Benzema- Ribery
We have very offensive fullbacks... so we may go with a 4-3-3 to cover. But we'll see.

Well considering its a fantasy team it might not be a bad idea as he's very good going forward and is probably going to pop up with a goal or/and assist over the tournament.
I went with Lahm and PizzaSteak tho.
KK Sports cheers i heard some rumours that Blanc would test him because of form and off the pitch issues....
Yh i would expect to see Ben Arfa start if its 4-2-3-1 but otherwise i cant see it because for now Nasri is just in front of him and rightly so.

Buffon is the best GK in the world as far as iam concerned and Chiellini has been one of the best CB's this season.
I look forward to laughing at the rest of this list.
Knew it these lists are always a complete and utter joke even to an average football fan.
