Borja, a CB and a star CF. A GK would be nice too but Caballero is OK.

Nesta will do good as a back up ,though he cant play a high line at this stage of his career. But i think they already have too much average quality defenders. they should go for
Albiol
Albiol
Re: Malaga are in the CL so what type of players will they attract?
Yeah, you can expect Pelle to tempt Albiol, he is a solid defender, and would certainly play a lot more with Malaga or another team. Expecting him to play 4th CB for us is unrealistic.

Albiol is better than you think....I want him and Musachhio.
Gamez-Musachhio-Albiol-Monreal
-----Camacho----Borja----------
Cazorla------------------Isco
---------------Michu-----
---------Rondon------------
9 Spanish players , the other two from Spanish speaking countries
I dunno if I want a CF who lacks technical ability as that could be a bottleneck on the team's style...Rondon has the movement, he needs the finishing, I can live with a couple missed chances.
Maybe a poacher for the bench.

How is Demichelis doing at Malaga? Failed hard in his last years at Bayern ... tbh he had just one good season but this was worldclass

Re: Malaga are in the CL so what type of players will they attract?
you guys should know that the Malaga owners dont just want to develop Malaga the club with their money
they want to develop the city as a whole, they are building hotels and resorts
Malaga as a city is a lavish tourist attraction with an insanely beautiful beach and is one of those small gems on earth to visit
but dont get me wrong, the club is a major part of their plans, they are using it as a tool to make themselves popular amongst the Malaguenos
so I expect around 100m this summer, maybe a wee bit more
expect big names
Borja and Rossi, for sure, Santi Carzola would love for him to be there
I expect a striker
they will promote fully Juanmi, a super exciting 19 yr old winger/SS
CBs and a right back
I say Albiol will go there, Pellegrini trusted him when he was at Madrid

Eh.... Smalling the same bloke who let Kompany have a free header in the 6 yard box which gave City the title? that Smalling
In all seriousness because Smalling went from non-league to PL doesnt mean everyone can
My point is Borja and Mussachio are not CL level

The only time he's looked good was when Cazorla was running the show.... ever since then he's looked shit and anytime before then he was shit

Re: Malaga are in the CL so what type of players will they attract?
I'm just jumping on the Borja bandwagon for fun, in reality I want Manuel Fernandes.Borja is not as shit as you make him out to be , he's good, but I don't rate him as highly as by fellow Madristas.I think Rakitic is better than him.
I don't want them to get Granero...conflict of interest
I'd take love for them to take Alex temporarily...also better than Borja
Mussachio would be a amazing signing though.

You'd be surprised what qualifies as CL level. Im not saying he is the new Xavi or any of that crap, he is not even the 2nd best Spanish CM after Xavi, but he is not a scrub. One man doesnt drag a whole team (unless his name is Lionel), and if you had watched Villarreal this season you would know that their midfield hasnt been that awful.
Obviously, Cazorla is in a different level completely. I wouldnt take Borja back at Madrid, but thats just my opinion. If United's mid is CL Level, then Borja sure as hell is.

Man Utd was a team in the CL. Villarreal was a team in the CL which lasted just as long. Malaga is a team in the CL. No United didnt win it, but Malaga arent going to win either. Their ambitious goal is getting out of the group stages. By which means can you say Borja is not CL level if you are saying that CL teams are not CL level?
Please give me your defenition of CL level here, because you might as well be making up artificial standards. :lol!:

Scholes was the reason behind that tbf..... we smashed them 3-0 which made them bring Scholes back they was really struggling at that point....
Do you consider Carrick and Anderson elite level? which was the midfield they used that KO'ed them in CL....
It's better than people give it credit for but its still not elite and needs major work imo. ( although signing Kagawa should help)
Also they beat teams in PL due to thier endless bombardment from the wings and pressure to put on teams with thier constant get the ball wide and cross.... ( obviously theres more subtlety to it than that but you get my point)
