Re: Suarez again...
Is it just me or is that not even that bad, you regularly see that happen when players shield the ball out. Most players try slide around the player and get the ball. There was pretty much no force involved with the arm.

Re: Suarez again...
The kicking was nothing, but a red could've been shown for the clothesline. Suarez has no possible reason within the laws of the game to wrap his arm around Ivanovic's neck.
I find it interesting that some Liverpool fans can defend his actions, he's a fantastic player no doubt, but that part of his game has no place in football.
Bar this whole racist incident... guilty or not as you and I both don't know the whole story behind the case, what's he done that other footballers have not? Well, the biting incident too, which I might add was quite funny to watch.

Surely you're taking the piss.
You've seen Cantona, Keane, Ronaldo... Young right now... all in the past decade or is that all okay if you play for Manchester United?

Taking the piss is a sign of affection in Uruguay.

Re: Suarez again...
Bad thing to do, but it's not really an agression. I don't see intention to harm, he pulls him with his fist, but he doesn't hit him. It's a yellow card, same as Motta's action on Busquets.
Yet, Motta's action on Busquets was considered a terrible dive and not even a foul for this forum, while this is considered a red card for many.
Double standards.

Sure is. Didn't mention Ivanovic's elbow on Carroll... nor Essien's tackle. Forum would of exploded in delight if that was Luis.

Is doubting someone's seriousness a sign of affection in Uruguay?
