Lippi hails Juventus boss Conte
Marcello Lippi has named Antonio Conte as the key reason behind Juventus’ 2011-12 Scudetto success.
Coach Conte joined the Old Lady in the summer after leading little Siena to promotion from the Second Division.
“Antonio did well, perhaps better than everyone else,” stated the former Juve boss who won five Scudetti in Turin himself.
“A few of their players had already tasted certain experiences and also bad ones like Serie B,” added the out of work tactician. “Juventus have returned to being a great.”
Conte was able to mirror the achievements of Giovanni Trapattoni and Lippi in winning the Scudetto at his first attempt.
“Let’s leave the similarities to one side,” the former Italian national Coach continued. “This is a new Juve, a side who now have a certain kind of mentality again and that came from their Coach.
“After all, Conte was the Juventus captain during my time with the club.”

Re: Lippi hails Juventus boss Conte
Conte has exceeded ALL of my expectations. He is the best coach in Serie A right now. If he wins the Champions League next year then he can be considered one of the top 5 coaches in the world. Guardiola, Mourinho, Ferguson, Di Matteo, Jupp Heynckes, Conte...
On a side note, if Di Matteo wins the Champions League, then Italian coaches would have won 4 titles this year...
Champions League - Di Matteo
Serie A - Conte
Premier League - Mancini
Russian League - Spalletti
And if Italy wins the Euro 2012 you can add 5 titles to that...
Forza Italia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
