Quagliarella has title dedication

Fabio Quagliarella has dedicated Juventus’ Scudetto victory to his family for the support they offered him during his injury nightmare.

The Italian international missed the first six months of 2011 after rupturing knee ligaments in a January defeat to Parma.

The former Napoli player returned to action at the start of this season and has contributed four goals to Juve’s League success.

“This is my first Scudetto and it is an incredible feeling,” stated the forward. “We are still unbeaten this term and that is incredible.

“My thoughts go to my family who all stayed so close to me during those difficult moments that I had with injury. I share this joy with them.”

Quagliarella then hailed boss Antonio Conte, the man who in his first full Serie A season has masterminded Scudetto glory.

“Conte, from the very start, gave us all faith and he always motivated us so that we offered our best,” the 28-year-old continued.

“We all rowed in the same direction and the results rewarded us for the hard work and sacrifices.”
