Realizing the fact that our striker duo (Matri & Quags) were both terribly incompetent midweek, and considering that Borriello scored twice in his last 2 matches, I think it's a good idea to start with him.
Don't understand Pepe though.

Boriello scored twice.
My dead grandma couldve scored his header
and my grandma couldve actually scored the absolute sitter he missed

Boriello is a waste of space.
Even if he scores in this game - hes still a waste of space

Nothing will ever convince me that we need to sign a guy whos only scored 32 goals IN TOTAL for Roma, Milan and Juventus over 4 seasons...

AND hes turning 30 next month...

 to all the people here supporting Boriello...i cant believe theres so many...

Pepe is an honorary Juventus legend if we win the Scudetto, he's done some magical stuff for us this term.

Pepe >>>>>

I don't know what he's gotta to do get appreciated round here. I'm happy pep is starting, we need the energy in the team. We saw in our last match how tired and lazy the players got and Pepe barley ever slacks off till he's ran his heart out. Plus people think he's got the technical skills of a potato when Infact he's very very skilful, just not flashy like many people want to see IMO.

Not saying he's irreplaceable because he isn't, but he's contributed just as much, if not more than every Juve player bar MVP, Buffon and Barz Chiellini but that's to them being genuinly worldclass this season.

Pepe is GOAT. Puts Abate and Podolski to shame.

Most of what you say is true. I was a big Pepe critic last season but hes worked his socks off and earnt his spot on the roster. He deserves his praise this season even if his form of lately have been average after a super start to the season. I have no problems with him starting wide on the right. I wouldnt say hes contributed as much as Barzagli, Chiellini, Pirlo Vidal etc .... but hes done a very good job.

But when you say Pepe puts Podolski to shame? I dont think so. Not even close. Two different players.. and Id have Podolski in that role any day of the week.

I said 'bar' them lot, meaning every other player except them lol

And the podolski thing was just a bit of a joke pal. I know Poldi > Pepe.

Infact I wanted him at Juve before arsenal snapped him up, I'm still butthurt over it ha.

I never supported Boriello and never wanted him to join, nor to stay, but you must be blind not to see how incompetent are our other strikers in the last few matches. At least Boriello sometimes create chances and sometimes score them, unlike Quags and Matri who couldn't even create them, so.. You can argue who is more of a waste.

At this point, it is inevitable that Borriello gets the nod.

2 goals in 2 games, and I'm sure Conte, Borriello, his agent, and the Juve administration would like to see if he can keep it up.

The only person who can start ahead of him is Quags at this point. Matri is off form, and ADP is not a CF. Vucinic has been in stunning form in SS, so he is staying there.

Actually after seeing Matri in the last game and his running and shots I think he is coming back and Qualigi is losing it

That's because neither Quags (at this point in his career) nor Matri should be first choice everyday strikers for a team like Juve.

Well said, I have always been quaglia fan even before joining juve, but this season we have given him and matri enough chances to get back to their best form. the only reason I don't say get rid of them is we're short on strikers and can't replace them all in just one transfer window.

While that might be true... its a too harsh. We are where we are because of the hard work of our players over the last 2 seasons.

They deserve as much credit as anyone else for us being in a position today where we can bitch about how they suddenly arent good enough for Juve anymore.

They have done their job admirably. and they deserve more respect. You wouldnt have said what youre saying now 1 year ago.

next season we will be participating in UCL and obviously with the current strikers' efficiency we would be a laughing stock there. this doesn't mean we don't appreciate what they've done, it's just the expectations are different now. we will be italian champions next year!

absolutely. I get that without question. But in October - people here are crying out for Quags and Matri...All of a sudden 6 months gone by - theyre not longer good enough for the Juventus of tomorrow - Its just really sad.

What REALLY gets me though - is that on top of all that, theres talk of signing Morons like Boriello and not extending ADPs contract.

What the hell is this world coming to??

I would keep Quag and Matri - They are more than capable backups for next year. Vucinic, Quag, Matri, new SS (Jovetic), new Striker (Cavani), and bring back Immobile and were actually OK for next year.
