Cisse's ridiculous right foot created that goal, not Santon. Thats like saying the guy who passed Ronaldo the ball before he hit a 40 yard screamer, that guy got the assist. No. It was all Ronaldo, just as it was all Cisse.

De Ceglie has developed very well into one of the best leftbacks in Italy, if not the best. If he was a bit more of a goal threat and would cut in once in a while instead of always crossing, i think he could be our long team starter. Hes very fast and is a pretty good dribbler for a leftback. Just ask Zambrotta lol.

all I remember about this player are his injuries and he has become boring with that

people use to say IAQUINTA and SISSOKO are injury prones and we need to drop them I don't get whats the difference with DE CEGLE injuries ????

I used the video as a joke lol...... even so the goal doesnt happen without Santon's dribble and pass Smile

None the less if Santon had performed this season like he has for us but in Serie A you would all by raving about him and the Italian media would be calling for him to be called up..... a shit 45 mins aside he has been that good.

As for the Zambrotta comparison.... id argue Santon is the new Zambrotta...... he is fantastic defensively and a force going forward at LB or RB and extremely fast and dribbling wise Santon is like a winger he's probably the best dribbler we have outside Ben Arfa.

Not hating on PDC btw i like him and he should go to the Euro's but Santon is better and will be back in Serie A soon enough.....

Infact the only reason Santon wont go the Euro's is his age and he doesnt play in Italy but he did need to get away from Italy to fulfill his potential.

Maybe you can buy him :coffee:

exactly...let me outline it why I say he is the best

The last match Juve played with De Ceglie & conceded a goal was vs Chievo back on March 3rd where he scored...
After that we conceded 2 times including yesterday & both times he wasn't present on the field...
Vs Lazio he didn't start & vs Lecce where he came off with an injury in the first 3 minutes...

Ok I to think that PDC isn't the best LB in the Serie a but he is not average and he doesn't suck. I think you guys really underestimate what he has done this season and how far he progressed but I have to admit its not from Conte but as PDC and Chiellini said Del Neri made him more defensive solid and great. With the current quality in Serie A I think HE IS THE BEST OF THEM WHEN IN ATTACK ITS LIKE HIS CROSSES HAVE EYES he owns in attack and his dribbles are amazing in attack he owns. As some experts said Paolo De Ceglie was and always will be Left wing not a LB but it may prove wrong. But the defense is his problem at least he was but now he is better if he continues to improve in defense than he will be one of the best but tbh I doubt that. In terms of potential for me he is better than Cito( Cristcito).
