Pepe returns to Juventus action
Simone Pepe says his injury nightmare is over after making his long-awaited return for Juventus on Wednesday.
The versatile wide player came on as a substitute in the 3-0 Coppa Italia win over Avellino – 396 days after his last appearance in a 0-0 with Lazio back in November 2012.
“It’s been a long way back, but I feel I can say the nightmare is finally over,” the former Roma and Udinese man noted.
“I need to work to regain full fitness and reach the same levels as my teammates.
“I’m not one who easily gets emotional, but I must admit I felt it when I heard the crowd’s roar tonight. I need to thank the fans, as well as my family and teammates, for supporting me throughout.”
Pepe played a key part in the club’s first Scudetto win under Antonio Conte and he’s looking to again make a contribution.
“I think this team has developed even further since I was last in action, especially from a psychological point of view,” he added.
“There’s a long way to go, but we could certainly enjoy a satisfying season. Juventus have everything in place to do so.”

Di Marzio wrote:Paolo De Ceglie could leave Juventus. And three teams are interested in him in these last hours. Rome, Genoa and Sassuolo were in fact carried out the surveys to the outside black and white, now it remains to be seen if and how Juventus decide to sell it. Phase of reflection, for De Ceglie is a trio of teams interested.

I like De Ceglie, he seems like a nice lad but he is not good enough for Juventus. His crossing is some of the worst i'v seen. I hope he does leave but goes to a team competing for silverware like Roma or somewhere.
Could be a solid LB in the right team and system.

Juventus-Genoa talk De Ceglie
Juventus and Genoa will reportedly meet on Thursday to discuss a possible January deal for Paolo De Ceglie.
The Rossoblu are interested in the left-back and Tuttosport claims that the Old Lady are ready to release their youth team product.
However, the Italian champions and League leaders are said to have no interest in loaning out the defender.
Juve, at a minimum, are looking to sell the 27-year-old in a co-ownership deal.

De Ceglie and Motta for Juve exit
Paolo De Ceglie and Marco Motta are considering Juventus exits towards Genoa, Livorno or Werder Bremen.
“Genoa are a prestigious club with a great city and one of the most passionate fanbases in all of Europe,” agent De Ceglie’s agent Carlo Pallavicino told Calciomercato.com.
“Paolo is also very fond of Gian Piero Gasperini. However, he was born and raised at Juve, the side he has always supported, and has a strong rapport with Antonio Conte. It’d be very tough for him to leave this club, even if he hasn’t played as much as usual.”
Meanwhile, 27-year-old defender Motta is almost certain to leave after just two appearances this season.
He spent last term on loan at Bologna and is now of interest to Livorno and German club Werder Bremen.

Complications in negotiations to bring De Ceglie to Genoa
Di Marzio wrote:Genoa is looking for a left wing back. But the negotiation with Juventus for Paolo De Ceglie is getting complicated. After the initial contacts between Genoa and Juventus appeared positive, there was a bump in the road since De Ceglie has two years left on his contract with a salary of 1.7 million euro. This is a high figure for Genoa and this has complicated the deal. Genoa’s coach Gasperini was the one who wanted De Ceglie, since he knows him well from the days he was coaching him at Juve’s Primavera. The deal is getting complicated, at the moment De Ceglie will remain at Juventus…

Di Marzio wrote:Paolo De Ceglie refuses to Livorno. In recent days, the club's president Spinelli has set its sights on the exterior of Juventus, I have told you. The player, however, declined the destination. Vanished negotiation with Genoa, De Ceglie is always the interest of Sassuolo. Gradient De Ceglie, Livorno wait to know the answer to another Juventus, Marco Motta, still undecided whether or not to accept the proposal of the Tuscan club. The market comes alive, the Livorno hopes to place the first shot.
Refused Livorno too Thinks he is a Man City level player or something.
