Marko Marin
Woo took everyone off guard hmmm especially announcing it before end of season Not sure how much we paid because undisclosed
I signed him once in my FM games he was quite good but how will he do in the premier league???
What you think guys?? for me as long as he can trouble defences and unlock defences and work hard i dont mind.
PS: just seen its worth around £6/7 MILLION Good bargain deal I think

Re: Marko Marin
Don't want to destroy the joy but he's not good enough for a starter. But anyway nice signing. Gratz.
And Lukaku is going on loan to Werder Bremen,

He is talented, really talented but he needs a brain transplant.
Regardless he would compliment Mata well.

Re: Marko Marin
Come on for £6/7 million is a bargain especially considering we have brought players for way more who have been average lol..
He has few tricks up his sleeve so thats a bonus which will win us freekicks and help unlock defences whereas Malouda was one dimensional so opponents new what to do with him and Kalou is too weak and final ball very poor

Re: Marko Marin
For 6/7 million he could turn out to be an amazing signing.
He just has a couple problems:
1. He can get pushed around
2. He dosen't make the greatest use of the ball.
He can be your Ben Arfa , that's his talent level.

Re: Marko Marin
Seems a good buy for the money plus if we get a good manager in or keep Di Matteo he can help the player settle and feel better which then results in better performance and improvement especially when hes still young. He will link very well with Mata i think because he has flair, pace and skill just like Mata

Lol no, he is not that good .......
Marin is talented but he doesnt have a very good football brain or the mental attributes needed to succeed at a top club....
And he makes Silva look like Drogba, he is tiny so i expect him to be bullied.... before you mention Mata he is massive compared to Marin.

Re: Marko Marin
Ben Arfa was in a very similar position to Marin before coming.
:vagi:
Also , Ben Arfa was in a similar position before coming lol. He's a different player but I stick by the statement.

Re: Marko Marin
Come on iv seen his size he aint that small.
If he was that poor Arsenal, Spurs and L.pool wouldnt have been interested before.
He was quite cheap so i think he will do good

Re: Marko Marin
I never said he was poor i said he lacks a football brain and he is weak mentally.....
He is supremely talented but lacks the mental ability or football brain to make it as far as his talent suggests.
Good luck with him regardless

Re: Marko Marin
A class dribbler would be awesome but I guess we'll have to see. For the money it cost doesn't really matter if the deal goes south, but if we get a great player then it's money well spent.

Re: Marko Marin
I just don't like the thought of having Mata+Marin together on the pitch.
We do need size on the pitch.
Oh well, it wouldn't matter if it worked out brilliantly.

Re: Marko Marin
That was my inital reaction, three years ago I would have loved this but now, I don't understand it, we can do so much better.
I doubt this is a RDM signing, this would be Emenalo's signing, which so far have all been good signings, Bar Davila.
Good luck Marko, and Welcome to SW6!
And also, bye bye FloMo.

That is what I realised about 20 minutes after I found out, I thought the same thing about Cahill, then I remember writing Welcome Gary, and now I love Cahill so lets hope he does the same!

Re: Marko Marin
Yes, Good for Lukaku.
Also I would like to point out that yesterday I said we only needed a backup RW, LW and maybe CM, well I am 1/3 right so far. Come on Hoilett/Farfan and Allen/Sahin!
Then I will be a very happy Chappy!
