He is a target, but iam very skeptical because of his lack of pace.

Mole, why do you stress? you are not going to play a high line in England so he will be fine. It's not that Vertonghen is slow anyway, he can run, he just isnt Pepe explosive when he starts his run.

Besides, who is going to hit through balls over the top of your defense in EPL? . He is going to see those hoofs coming quite easily lol

Because since Taylor's injury we have been done in behind on quite a few occasions...... Williamson is slow as a snail mind......

I would just prefer Douglas or M'biwa to Vertonghen..... Dont see Coloccini and Vertonghen working out too well.

Except for when bringing the ball out from the back as they are both fantastic passers.

Lol yh, its kind of a funny argument because teams that have had success against Stoke consistently are those who make them run around chasing shadows and just keep the ball.

Stoke had success initially against teams like that because people altered thier gameplans to deal with Stoke.

Alot of teams have beaten Stoke this season with this exact game plan.

At the end of the day Stoke is a team full of average players and journey man if you make them run around and just pass it around you should get the best of them.

Valencia did similar too.

Swansea and Stoke are both teams the hipsters like to grab on to but they are both teams who can be acid tests but also teams with glaring weaknesses.

I asked around and i have been told he is a AM who can play deep lyin playmaker very much in the Arteta mould.

I havent seen one second of him but quite frankly if the scouts have eyed him as someone who can be good for us.

Then i believe in him.
