What next for Lopez, Gattuso & Giovinco?
Agent Andrea D’Amico has spoken about the futures of Maxi Lopez, Gennaro Gattuso and Sebastian Giovinco.
It is unclear where the trio will be playing their football next season, but the representative has given an indication of what may happen.
“Maxi Lopez will remain at Milan,” he said of the Argentine player who joined the Rossoneri on loan from Catania in January.
“He has demonstrated that he is a player who deserves to be with the Rossoneri.”
D’Amico expects Lopez to be flanked by Gattuso at Milanello next term even if the veteran’s contract expires in the summer.
“Gattuso will continue to play for a long time. He is a leader for the club.”
The future of Parma’s Giovinco is a bit more problematic to predict given that the Italian international is co-owned by two clubs.
“The first thing that has to be settled is his ownership,” D’Amico noted. “However, Parma could be in a strong position if they go into talks with Juventus backed by an important offer from another club.
“Whatever happens, Giovinco will be playing for a big team next season.”
The 25-year-old forward is apparently liked by Juventus boss Antonio Conte, even if Barcelona have also been linked with a swoop.

Parma knows they can't offer Giovinco football at the highest level yet still they trying to hold on to him...
