Re: Should we buy aquilani?
Letting Aqua go is not a horrible decision on the face of it. I can see why management might do that. He's an injury prone player who plays in a position where there may be better alternatives available. What is really difficult to understand is that he is being released whilst other players, liabilities, are being given some of the longest golden handshakes of all time.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
His appearances are counted in 45 minute blocks, so I believe not. I'm going to merge this with the other Aquilani thread btw, hope you don't mind.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
Alberto Aquilani is still hoping to be a part of the Milan squad for the 2012-13 campaign.
The Italian international, dropped from Cesare Prandelli’s Euro 2012 squad, joined the Diavolo last summer on a loan deal from Liverpool.
There was an enforced buy-out clause inserted into that agreement, but the Roman didn’t play in enough games for it to be activated.
“We’ll have to wait and see what happens when it comes to my future,” the man who spent last season on loan at Juventus stated.
“The door is semi-open for me to stay here…”
---------------------
It would be interesting to know if this is stemming from conversations Aquilani has had with the club or simply his own personal uncertainty over his future. If all of this has been to shaft Liverpool out of a couple of million euros then Galliani has gone beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel. If we were to grab one more creative midfielder and a quality mezzala or anchorman then it would be nice to keep Aquilani to really cement our depth. If we he took the place of a strong transfer target another then I'd no longer be content simply because our management has shown little faith in him and it would reek of desperation.

He played well. He wasn't fantastic or anything but that might have been due to his injury problems and lack of playing time near the end of the season. If he was given playing time for the entire season I'm sure he would of done great things. The guy has loads of talent, it's unfortunate that injuries and inconsistent performances have marred his image.

I agree with this. Constant was great with Chievo put a lot of great performances against the big teams.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
Exactly, why would we waste money on Aquilani,a player who can win a single ball in the MF has no dribbling skills. He was only spraying ball around and feeling spaces .Constant has speed ,dribbling, and a bit of a vision in him, which we need.•MilanDevil• wrote:red&blacklegion wrote:I dont know about Traore but I think Constant will surprise a lot of u guys.Rossonero23 wrote:aquilani's better then constant/traore.
