Should we buy aquilani?
Aquilani was excellent in the first part of the season then he slowed down a bit. Do you think that we should buy him outright?
I had a small conversation with his agent on twitter and it seems like he's leaving. What would you like?

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
once i read Aquillanis' contract conditions, i was like , there is something fishy about it, and i think Liverpool will be :vagi: by this deal.
I think this summer we are up to one of the most controversial transfers in a long time, and Liverpool are going to be pissed about it.
Now should we buy him as in do we need him then yes we should.

Yes, I believe we should. He is especially good as a back up and he can create when he is in form.

You guys do know that once he makes 25 appearances (which he has already made or is 1-2 games away from making) we can not 'not buy' him!

Exactly... i think we're obliged to buy him now, he's a decent squad player but I don't see him as a starter, could be useful as backup

Yes! He may not be starting material but he's shown that he can be a more than decent backup and for just 6 million, he's more than worth it!

He's a decent backup and I'm not complaining now that he's ours.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
from what i read was that aquilani had to be bought automatically for 6 m if he played a 'said' amount of games which he did play , and milan dont have a v choice in this ?

If he plays 25 games then we have to purchase him, I think 100% we are going to buy him

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
Absolutely we should buy him. And this not only is because of the superb deal involved.
Aquilani has proven that he can be a solid starter for us as we generally look better with him on the field.
Only problem is he is injury prone along with the fact that it hampers his form and confidence.
Yet with Monty surely coming in, it will ease the creative burden of Alberto along with the anticipation for a midfield partnership

Although, I think that KPB is now better suited to TQ than being part of the midfield 3 - I used to believe the opposite.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
Aquilani was doing quite well before his injury, is inexpensive in terms of both a transfer and his wages, and provides depth and flexibility. With so many veterans set to possibly depart we can't afford to lose more of our midfield - though Flamini will likely leave - to ensure stability both in the dressing room and on the pitch. Major shake-ups in personnel are rarely without consequences and his purchase ensures continuity. I'm sure his agent would love another negotiation which provides a higher commission, however as far as I'm concerned, he'll be at Milan next season.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
Interesting news about Aquilani that i read on milannews.it.
Apparently his appearances are counted only 45 mins at a time(so if he comes on as a sub in the second half it will count only as half a game).
He's only at 21.5 appearances right now, and at 25 we are obliged to buy him. With Montolivo coming in, i'd rather we buy a higher calabre creative midfielder, someone like hernanes/ganso/eriksen, and let aquilani go back to liverpool.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
i feel aquilani is much better player than montolivo. aquilani is still unconsistent and gets injured but he can still play good role for us.
i dont mind much, if he stays its good for our squad because we need creativity.

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
The equation is really simple here! Aquilani is no world beater, but we cannot get another player of his quality for that price (6-8 million). And with so many of our veteran players leaving this year, we should not give up on the opportunity!

Re: Should we buy aquilani?
WERE NOT SIGNING AQUILANI!!!!!!!!
apparently Milan said no and Aquilani will be shipped back to Liverpool by seasons end. He has only made 21 apperances this season. 45 min and less apperances count for 1/2 a game. hes only started 13. They said they will rarely/not use him at all so the clause will not be activated
wow
