Aside from that I feel Germany and Italia are the future. The latter is showing great promise but imo would be top of Italian clubs develop their youth properly. The talent in the country is mind boggling.

For Spain- Yes.

Zubizaretta had an amazing club career so I'm not in the position to say.Casillas has had an amazing club career as well.......and I've actually watched him play....

No one talks about Xavi in World cup 2002, Euro cup 2004, or world cup 2006. What did he do then? Nothing. Same like other players. Spain won in 2008, Xavi was very good but so was Villa, Torres, Senna who were as important like Xavi. Xavi is one of the best Spaniards i dont think he is the best Spanish player ever. Probably in my top 3/5 though.

Raul is not on Xavi's level, Villa has a case but not Raul. Villa has been instrumental to the rebitrh of Spain as a super power on the NT front, scoring crucila goal on the way to both Euros and WC final. Raul, did not. Xavi is the fulcrum for Spain, and the fulcrum for Barcelona. If he is instrumental in the next Euros and they win it, then there will be no arguement. All my Spanish mates agree.

Raul didnt have this good of a team. A prime Raul would have raped everyone with Xavi, Iniesta, Fab, Silva etc feeding him. He had a vastly inferior team. A good team Raul had, but not a world class team like now.
