DIS and the spanish prosecution ask for prison time for Neymar, his parents, Rosell and Bartemeu

The Fiscalia de la Audiencia Nacional (the prosecution) asks for 2 years in prison for Neymar, 5 years for Rosell and a fine 8.4 mill to FC Barcelona.

Simultaneously, DIS (the previous owners of 40% of Neymar's sporting rights) is submitting to the court the requests of: 8 years for Rosell and Bartomeu and 5 years for Neymar and his parents.

(both entities tack on a bunch of fines to Neymar and co.)

All in charges of corruption and fraud over his signing from Santos. In all cases, DIS calls for a ban from sporting activities of all involved during their respective sentences.

If we learned anything from the Messi case it's that even if you get sentenced to jail in Spain if it is below 3 years you never serve, so it's likely that the prosecutors are asking for 5 knowing they'll only get 3 tops and that he won't serve.

So now both Messi and Neymar will be convicted criminals. Why are they even allowed on the pitch? They should be "locked up" and the key thrown away...

And the corrupt fixers shouldn't be allowed to compete in professional football, but sadly this is the sick world we live in.
