I voted for Casillas. I find the list very limited (being my age, there are lots of previous ex Madristas that should be on this list).

I selected Casillas over Raul, Puyol and Xavi. Raul had the best club record over these 4, but Casillas is not very far behind him at this point. All of the other 3 have more Selecciones success than Raul, and although I admire Puyol and Xavi, Casillas importance on Selecciones is greater.

How does the Golden Foot work again? Nominees have to be over 30? I voted Raul.

Everyone over 29 can be nominated for Golden Foot. If they win they will get their name in some sort of Hall of Fame for footballers. I think it also goes by players still playing.

I think it goes by players currently playing and how they performed this season.

Sorry I just looked it up. It is for active players 29 years or olders. By the way all of suggested additions I made have won it except for Figo and Hierro.
