Overall I’d say Ramos can help more since he can take care of aerial battles better.
Mache’s tackling ability is probably the best there is right now though

Id want Mascherano. Ramos is a beast in the air at both sides of the pitch, but other than that, he just an indisciplined foul machine pirat

ramos is contributing more to attack than masch as well xD

Ramos' ability in the air is overstated imo, and it will show by the Bayern match. Falcao, who is not even that tall at 1.77, played around with him.

Anyways, Ballesteros should start ahead of Ramos' for the NT Very Happy

I rate players by their performances vs barcelona. i can say that ramos most of time owned by barca attackers at one by ones. his height was useless

Mascerano's height helps him to be more agile and react faster. he is probably the hardest man to get past atm. while ramos is an above avarage defender vs good dribblers. his areal defence is better but it doesnt matter much when last time barca conceded a header

Yet Ramos has been dribbled only 2 times in La Liga, and Mascherano has been dribbled 17 times. hmm

Being dribbled more or less is irrelevant, personally I think Ramos has had better games and is better at his best but has been less consistent.

Masch has been far more consistent but at his best vs Ramos' best he falls short.

Billion million stop using fifa stats ffs. If anything ramos is way more agile then mascherano, even though ramos is 6' 1/2 and masch is 5'8

And being shorter doesn't make you react to the ball faster lmfao, your brain does..

Is it fair to say, both have had very good seasons in somewhat new positions but both have made mistakes in important games and both still have some way to go.

I dont think either are top 5.

Mascherano and Ramos are atleast the same agility wise, Mascherano can reach the ball with slide tackles like no other.
