Just how good was Pavel Nedved?

I came across this video



Seems like so long ago now but this guy was the real deal.
No surprise that the fall of Juventus began when players like Pavel left, irreplaceable.

He was one of the great midfielders of his generation...that includes players such as Zidane, Rivaldo and Figo

hmm does the fact that after he retired we finished 7th two times help?

Two players I wished for Milan Nedved and Alex, might not be among the best ever (Nedved) but a very very rare type, passion for the game, love for the club, technically gifted and ALWAYS classy, can't come across them easily.

You guys also had a player who was all those things and I always wanted him at Juve...Kaka! Leaving Milan for Madrid was the worst thing for his career though coz he was amazing!

I always loved Kaka and I loved Gatusso he is pure warrior a player in which I see my self I am that kind of player never giving up playing to the max and I never give up and accept no defeat until the whistle if it happens than the next game I have to beat and study the opponent good tbh Both of our clubs have legends that will never be forgotten

yes Pavel Nedved was just phenomenal and like ADP his attitude is classy.

Maldini.. Was one of my best momments ib life when i talkee to him in dubai!

Having followed Juventus since the late 80's - Pavel in my eyes in the best midfielder that has played for Juventus during that time

I know I know, people say the Zidanes, the Platini's etc etc

In my eyes, Pavel could play any role right across midfield and even could fill in as a trequartista - he was multi-dimensional. He is an absolute champion.

He will always be my favourite player. Much more so than ADP/Buffon.

The thing is that Nedved in every position was beast and best :d

He was brilliant

magnificent player. one of the few with del piero and buffon whom i highly respect.

he has won so much in italy, both for lazio and in juve. actually he could have won ballon d or twice. because i remember 2003 season was his best both league and CL season., in CL semi final had he not tackled steve mcmanaman he would have featured in final against us in old trafford CL. and he could have caused serious havoc.

ironically due to nedved suspention getting second yellow against real madrid and missing final, zambrotta played in his place, and i remember conte played too... and i remember in extra time conte actually hit post with header... i remember clearly that conscience... that scary moment of conte hitting the post by his header which could have ended milan dreams that day... i clearly remember lol i was just kid back then.... and all my classmates bet juve will win. in the end milan won but nedved said he really missed that moment to play in final and he said he would have liked to play another CL final. that was around times when he was about to retire. so i really felt for him very sorry.

magnificent player... juve had awesome players back then everywhere... in defense midfield and forwards. so did milan... thats why serie a were so strong.

Hahahah I watch atletico mainly for Falcao and Diego looks much better again.

As for the F1,only seen highlights of the races so far. I'm off out now, my work here for goal legacy is done.
