To be fair I would like to see Atletico strengthen their squad instead of selling top players and replacing them.

If they do this next season I will follow them more often.

A striker who knows what his job is.

Give him the ball and he'll score.

Is diego back from injury? They were starting to pair up nicely.

He is coming back soon, he got injured at the wrong time. He was looking really good then.

They spent 40m on him last summer i doubt you can afford him plus its not wise to be courting a player in a thread started by a Atletico fan Razz

Anyway best Penalty box striker in the world and by some distance...... better than Higuian, Gomez, Soldado,Hernandez, Cisse, Klose,Huntelaar etc etc........

Is he worth 40m ? probably not but was CR7 worth 80m? i dont think so but as long as players are banging in the goals no one will care.......

BTW Stevie will Atleti spend to further increase the strength of your squad and weak spots should you finish top 4?

I would still tempt them with 45-50 mil Very Happy

Hate the fact he was giving us conditions to pay for him in 7 days but he has it I dunno what happened to mancini's head to bench him he was good and scoring I would get him he is build for Serie A. Tall l,strong, clinical in front of goal

-----Vucinic---Dzeko----Jovetic-----

I would love that + veratti ( we keep pushing for him)

Dzeko doesn't go from potentially world class in a shit Wolfsburg to complete meh in City of all clubs. He just needs to start.

Juve could probably get him for cheap now that Tévez is back. Unless Bayern want a Gómez bench :coffee:

Anyways, Falcao is frakking awesome and I do agree he's underrated in this forum. Would fit into any teams easily out of pure goalscoring power. He also has nice workrate and physically is pretty imposing.

Wrong Falcao but I think you know this. I really don't know why my fellow Madrid fans would say he is average or call him a poor man's Higuain but I guess it's how it is. Viva actually made a valid point in writing it's not that he is underrated (Madrid fans' opinions don't count) but nothing much has changed from the start of the season i.e a great forward playing for a very inconsistent team.

True, when it comes to listing the world's best strikers, his name hardly appears and it probably is unfair but it boils down to the fact who he plays for (Atletico). I don't underrate him personally, just his team at the moment...

What's wrong with Arda Turan?

Absolutely nothing. I really like him but he is little inconsistent. We need someone apart from Arda who can change the game. Now Diego can do that but he has been injured/out of form for some time. We need someone like Ozil who will feed Falcao, who I think can reach the 50 goals a year mark with good service. The point is to feed Falcao, and we will challange most top teams.

Dzeko doesn't need starts. He simply doesn't fit our system. That's all. He is not suited for the quick pass and move game because his technique can be pretty awful.

Dzeko needs to play in a system where he doesn't need to touch much of the ball...sort of like Gomez for Bayern. He needs to be provided with constant service as he will not create his own goals.

He is a fantastic striker if you play him the right way and give him lots of good service. Both of his feet are equally good and he is exceptional in the air.

He has also struggled to adapt to the Premier League.

We are going to sell Tevez, by the way.
