Iniesta currently holds the record for most unbeaten matches in La Liga, tied at 50 matches with Butragueño. The top 5 is completed by Chendo (47), David Villa (44) and Amancio (43). The last time Iniesta lost a league match was in 2010/11, against Hercules, a year and a half ago. Since then Iniesta has participated in 42 wins and 8 ties in 553 days, compared to Butragueño's 34 wins and 16 ties between 1987-89.

This was posted on March 19th
On March 20th Barca won 5-3 against Granada, Iniesta came on as a sub
Then we played against Mallorca and Bilbao, and won both games, Iniesta started both games
Iniesta did not play against Zaragoza
We won against Getafe, where Iniesta was a starter
And came on against Levante as a substitute

So the record now stands at it was before +5 victories and no ties, totaling 55 games, 47 wins and 8 ties.

First Barcelona loss with Iniesta in the team in this season and first loss since Copa del Rey Final with Don in the squad. Also first loss with Adriano playing. Unbeaten streak in La Liga with Iniesta playing still ongoing.
