Don't underestimate them.

Better than I was expecting, going to be hard but very do-able.

barca/Milan semi will be very hard.

IMO, us v Barca and Real v Bayern will be semis.

They are still very dangerous, but it gives us a better chance of getting to the semi's.

With these knock out games anything can happen, if we take down Benifica we have the chance and ability to beat Milan or Barca imo.

A bit of luck and we can make the Final, don't hold much hope of winning, however, if we get there, semis is a great achievement.

As far as I'm concerned we are a 5 star team or a top team if you like, we know how to win and these knock out games ANYTHING can happen.

Sure it's extremely unlikely we will progress the semis, yet alone win the whole damn thing. But you never know stranger things have happened in football and in the Champions League.

Effectively our only chance to go to the final was taking Benfica before and Apoel/OM then, so we won't have problem to reach our goal (semi) and then playing with no pressure against Barca (they will progress pretty easily IMO) and park the bus twice and if no referee wants to follow Ovrebo's steps we might have a chance.
Anyway Benfica is similar to Napoli and we only beat them at the extra time, so we shouldn't take them carefree

David Luiz returns. And boy do Benfica know his faults better than anyone else other than Porto and Hulk.

Benfica played their usual attacking diamond system. They get their full-backs forward, stretching the play, increasing the gaps

so Luiz knows their weaknesses as well, I'm sure

Their weakness got sold to Chelsea and Luiz sees him everytime he looks in a mirror

Nicely put, but every team has their weaknesses... its just a matter about diminishing the weaknesses and maximising the strengths. Lets see what happens, Benfica is a good team...cant decide the game on a forum or on one man.

lol was kidding. Benfica are vulnerable from wide positions almost the same places as Napoli. But beware when they play at home they start with a quick pace. I love watching the Porto vs Benfica matches they are from the get go at each other with a quick tempo. Almost like a EPL match. Janko and Oscar Cardozo are good in the air and Cardozo is quick and I do not think Chelsea want to push up. That is what AVB was trying to do and they failed he got fired. Luiz is a much better player since his Benfica days but he get the blame mostly from the media trying to make a effort to not concede. He got some pace and when Chelsea was playing the high line he had to run back and try and stop the guy who explored the space behind a slower and older Terry. Luiz last ditch defending is usually not the best and he ends up send off, booked or they score a goal and everyone blame him
