Pogba to Juventus still not done
Manchester United have cast doubts over reports that Paul Pogba will be heading to Juventus in the summer.
Stories last week intimated that the 18-year-old had already decided to move to Turin once his contract expires in June.
However, after making an appearance against West Brom, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists the teenager could sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
“The boy is still trying to make his mind up, but he knows where he should be,” Ferguson stated to MUTV.
“He has shown again the potential he has got and he is a first-team player – there is no question about that.”
The Old Lady have apparently offered the teenager a four-year contract which will see him net around £15,000 a week.
United will receive only around £300,000 from Juventus as “training compensation” – a fee which will be determined by FIFA – should the transfer take place.
United signed the French midfielder, who is represented by agent Mino Raiola, from Le Havre in October 2009.

I honestly don't think he'll arrive in Turin for some reason.
Will he honestly get more of a chance here than he will at united?

I've heard from multiple sources that now he officially signed a new contract for MU.

No great loss tbh, I was excited about him a little but I'm happy with Bouy and Appelt.

I heard the same thing while watching the United match yesterday. He even came on as a substitute. He may have been using Juve to get a better offer from MU. United has a few months to sign him or convince him to stay before he is able to sign with another team, so I don't have a lot of confidence that he'll come to Juve.

He would have been a good signing but let's be honest, if he's after first team opportunities then Juve were never really a viable option and not only is midfield our strongest area in our first team but it's also probably the best area in the Primavera too.

Sir Alex is one of the greatest minds that has ever graced football. If he thinks the kid is worth a longer contract, he MUST be special. End of story.

I'm not saying that changed his mind. I was implying that United has a lot of power to persuade him to stay over the next couple of months, while Juventus has to wait for the window to open. United can give him playing time, offer more money, etc.
I'd still take him any day.

Not sure if you guys watched yesterday's game vs Bilbao, he got like 30 mins and had 2 really dirty fouls, could have even been sent off.. Other then that he was really invisible.
Maybe it was good that we didn't actually sign him, because this was his second match on the big stage and already behaving like a terrible player. Of course you can't judge a player on 1 match performance but still..
