We need agility in midfield

Personally I think Granero, Alonso, Khedira and Kaka are too slow. It's becoming more noticeable.

I know Banega's injured, but we need a quick and agile CM like him.

We also need a new starting eleven.

Or we can stop acting like real life is anything close to FM12

I don't think Mourinho's acting like it's FM.

@MT very good point. Alonso's speed is becoming more apparent. I just hope for the day Sahin emerges.

I don't think many will admit there's better than Alonso, but personally I prefer someone like Modric. He's good B2B, good vision, good technically, good dribbling, good shot, good agility etc.

Sahin is a must in the near future. Xabi is 30 so he can play 2 more years, but in rotation, not like now.

Sahin-Lass-Ozil may be the best midfield in the world.

well the lack of agility in the midfield has been a problem for a while and has shown particularly against barca.

but this is one of those problems that we cant do anything about because we typically line up 4-2-3-1 and rarely do the front 4 help with midfield duties so in games where we are exposed we have 2 midfielders, typically xabi and khedira doing the work of the entire midfield.

signing someone like modric would increase agility and creativity but we would lose A LOT of physicality that we need.

signing someone like schweinsteiger or even cesc would have been ideal to partner xabi but impossible.

i still have faith in sahin. and signing someone like martinez to replace lass will be hopeful.

Physicality doesn't really matter that much imo. Spurs play with Parker as the DM with Modric.

1 DM is alright.

but xabi isnt really a DM. it shows that we DO need physicality when xabi is paired with granero or gago in the past.

Khedira/Lass or someone like M'Vila/Javi Martinez.

We need technically good midfeilders that can control the ball under pressure?
We need strong, fast, aggresive mdfeilder?
We need accurate passing midfeilder?
We need a stopper in midfeid, a BTB stopper who defends and attacks in all action match?
We need a player with good shooting, passing, positioning, defence and attack?
We need a player that can dictate and control the game?

I will give you a hint on who can it be, Frekin its R**O*.

We need Ramos at CB imo.

Sorry, but some of those things doesn't really fit into Ramos profile, you pretty much described Schweinsteiger. Ramos is also lacking two of the most important skills for midfielder, intelligence and calmness!

Lol, Ramos can be calm and intelligent too, i perfect world, i would have paired Ramos with Schweinsteger. One is a DLP and other is BTB. Ramos is a almost a stopper in central defence, close to the DM like, i am pretty sure he will bet 5x better DM then all our Midfeilders, a DM that would win us TOP matches.

Ramos is too hectic as a CB for my liking, sometimes he does pull an incridible performance mostly because of his incridible physical and technical skills but his concentration and sometimes "advanced" positioning are not that great but still an incridible CB.

The thing is i beleave that he will be really ATL WC in DM/CM. But i wont mind him as CB cuz he is also WC there.
