Prandelli: Milan-Juve not decisive, Conte is fantastic, extraordinary
Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli sees Milan’s clash with Juventus this weekend as fascinating and important, but not a game that will decide the League title.
The two sides meet at San Siro on Saturday night locked in a season-long title race. Currently the Rossoneri hold top spot over second place Juve by a point, but the Bianconeri are unbeaten and hold the advantage of a game in hand.
Echoing Milan Coach Max Allegri’s words on the weekend's game, Azzurri boss Prandelli sees a significant game ahead, but not one that will necessarily determine the destination of Lo Scudetto.
“For me, it’s too early to say it will be a decisive game, these are two teams who will fight to the end for the title,” the 54-year-old told Eurosport.
“They are two teams that have demonstrated consistency and who have a well-defined identity on the field. This year’s Serie A is fascinating, because it will be ongoing right up to the end.
“It will be a very balanced game, a game in which Milan will try to lower the pace and keep hold of the ball, and one that Juventus will try to accelerate. The transition will be key to this meeting.”
Prandelli reserved special praise for Juve’s Antonio Conte, who has yet to lose a game in charge of the Old Lady.
“Conte is fantastic, extraordinary, he has introduced the right spirit to the club, which he had when he was captain of Juventus, and in no time. He has involved all of his players in Juve’s project too.”
Former Fiorentina Coach Prandelli also believes that Milan are stronger than critics are acknowledging.
“There are many who claim Milan depend on the individuals - I do not agree because the team did very well in these last two seasons, collecting good results.
“This means that even just on the viewpoint of tactics, things are working properly. The fantastic match in the Champions League [against Arsenal] also indicates that it is not just a team full of excellent players, but also one strong with perfect organisation.”

What did he mean "transition will be key"?
And Juve prefers a fast pace high tempo game always now?
