Rocksmith

What do you guys think about this game? Has anyone tried it?

I just tried it at my friend, and as i play a bit of bass and guitar i found it rather interesting. Pity it is not still out in Europe and no Bass version as i would probably get it for my el-bass.

I have it. It's really good, more responsive than i thought it would be. It has great songs and mini games

I played with it for couple of hours. On ps3, the chords were not that responsive some times, but single notes were more or less ok. I hear that you have to hook your speakers separately in Xbox to get the best responsiveness.

What console are you playing in?

Yeah, i play it on xbox I use the component cables and the audio on separate speakers. It worked fine with just the component cables I wanted it loud.

Thanks man. Did you play guitar earlier? Do you feel you can actually improve or is it just that games motivates you to practice more?

Cant wait for the game to come to europe, though i might need to buy a guitar as there is no bass version Sad

I played guitar for a few years but playing the game makes practicing fun and the arcade ganes help with different techniques. How do you play with a bass?

Well i started around 5 years ago, but never i have enough time or motivation to practice. It was more of a summer month pass-time activity when i go back home (until my friends got kids). I really have no time and more important motivation to practice alone. I like playing guitar as well, but i do not have an electric one for the game.

I think this game would make me practice it at least 30-60 min a day. I feel that lately i lost a lot of speed and stamina.

Yeah most set lists are 30-40 min long and you might have to practice certain songs in order to get the amount of points needed to pass each song and then the set list. You'll probably play it for 50-60 min a day.

Is there a way to get this on pc? I play the acoustic but some of my mates have electric guitars so I thought it would be fun to try this out.

Anyone who got this, can you share your experiences ? Laughing

I think PC version is not out yet. It is fun to practice, although sometimes in fast songs it does not pick up all the notes well, but that could be my mistake (not getting the notes clean enough).

I really love the game! I have not much time to play with it, but when i do 2 hours pass in a minute Very Happy

If you got a PS3 or XBOX 360 i say go for it. It is worth the money.
