hows so? if the player sucks then he is not good enough to take arsenal to the place they want to be, CL and epl champions.

frak off :lol!: you see sahin there and you opt for altintop
if madrid sell sahin the guys at madrid wouldn't know a talented youngster if one smacked them in the head.
and this is a VERY reliable source Guillem Balague is nearly always right.
It's not "the guys at Madrid", no, no fan is happy to read that
It's *bleep* Jose Mourinho

Diaby could spend the rest of his life healing, play one game before he dies and injure himself. The guy's as crocked as they comeKwame2u wrote:Wenger can then give Diaby enough time to heal and become the beast he was bought to become

lmao, that's exactly what i was thinking when i saw legend's post. Altintop? like wtf. of course he may be a nice squad player to have, but how do you overlook Sahin, or even Kaka?
but Madrid are known for buying players and wasting them, and then having the players go on to succeed elsewhere. so it's likely sahin will beast in his new club if he's sold

He was a beast at his old club
Should've stayed and been an actual part of Dortmund becoming Bundesliga champs. Such. A. Waste.

i am 100% certain they won't sell Sahin, Mou isn't like the old RM managers he knows exactly who he want and Sahin will play a big part in RM's defense of the title next year

Thanks Sam for last couple M'Vila articles and news, the more I read the more discouraged I am about his acquisition. Dip in form and average performance this season, could be trouble maker, not sure if we should open our already tight ass wallet for that kind of player.

O.o???
The guy cant even control a ball and when he tries to dribble he trips on his own feets (no joke) no offence to the guy but he would be worse than Squillaci for his position
Also i dont think he will take a paycut, he said he wanted to go to Galatasaray(i think) when he didn't get playing-time at first and i suspect they will offer him the same in wages or even more
You'd be better off getting Kaka, he would suit your possession type of footballl which goes a bit slower than our constant attacking ones because he ends up getting lost when it goes too quick imho

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Arsenal yet to approach Walcott for contract talks. None planned before Euros so he will enter final year of current deal.
Walcott relaxed, in no rush & happy at Arsenal. Money not motivating factor but expects improved deal, especially after best season yet.
Walcott also keen to see what happens with RvP before committing. Strong bond on and off the pitch.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
If we're going to buy another high-profile player, I wish it'll be Eriksen instead of M'Vila, Vertonghen or other guys that we don't need.
I know it's very unlikely, but still I wish it's a player that we need not Vertonghen or M'Vila type of players.

You guys are getting closer to Belhanda. But you must be willing to spend 25 mil.

I know Wenger said he likes Belhanda, but not sure if he would pay that kind of money and I dont think we do need him.
I would rather get Gotze, we need more German players.

You need him. He's not just a AM but a CAM like Cesc was. In fact, he's in the group with Sahin, Kroos and Ozil of young CAMs although he's 4th right now and Ozil is the clear leader. Has that kind of talent.

Arsenal linked with Heerenveen striker Bas Dost. Dutchman has 31 goals in 24 league appearances this season. - http://t.co/QpNxkwRa
Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I'm very keen on the Vertonghen rumors at the moment. They seem to be heating up rapidly which could be a sign of things really occurring.
About our link with any other striker I doubt we'd buy another striker knowing that the Podolski move has been secured unless .... *gulp*

Possibility that Arsenal have agreed a deal with Rennes regarding transfer of Yann M'Vila. £14m plus add-ons. (via @SoulRebel10 )

Funnily enough, I've just seen that Inter have met with M'Vila's agents and are favourites to sign him.

I wont be disappointed if we couldnt sign M'vila or Vertonghen, both are good players but not the players we need. Players like Belhanda are needed and i hope we do sign a player in that position.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Losing Vertonghen after he said he wanted to join the club will sting. And to say that we wont need him is far from true. He can play anywhere in the backline and as a DM- while going for 7-15 mil. What top team would not want that? Esp a team plauged with injuries such as ourselves. I dont know enough about M'Vila, but I really hope Wenger gets Vertonghen.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Just because he can play there doesn't mean he can play well there. Versiltiliy is great - immensly useful to have in a squad - but if the player cannot play that well in those positions that it's no where near as useful an asset.
As far as I'm aware, Vertonghen doesn't play that well in any other position but centre back. You can cite injuries as a reason why we should sign him but I will reiterate what I've been saying for ages: you only need three first team centre backs and one backup player. Having four player of similar quality in that position is overkill (and no squad in the world has that - not even City or Madrid). You don't want to be changing your centre back pairing too much so rotation would hardly be the solution to that problem.
Vermaelen, Koscielny and Mertesacker are out first choice defenders. Djourou is the backup. Song is the emergency cover. I don't see room for another centre back.
