2 more spots given that Tevez won't get called up so long as he doesn't play. Probably between Pastore, Lisandro, Palacio, and Denis. I frankly don't like Denis at all, so I'd give one to Lisandro and have him fight off the 9 with Higgy and probably Pastore as well.

Pastore and Lisandro then. Lisandro is better than both those forwards imo, and Pastore brings something different.

Well then i'd rather have Milito or Denis as a backup CF for Higuain for the 6th option in attack.

Argentina have too much quality outwide and as support strikers too plus they are quality depth too.

Never really liked him but I can't argue that he's been consistently good for a while.

Sure he scored some important goals for us that year, but we had an awesome team back then for which he wouldn't have been where he is now without the likes of Riquelme, Banega and Palermo. Still I preferred Palermo to Palacio but we're talking about a Boca legend here.

All in all, I'm happy for him but he left us to Genoa for peanuts.

It depends on what kind of style they find Lionel to play better in.

I haven't watched Argentina much, infact it surprises me Messi isn't playing CF for Argentina.

If they want to play no guy in the hole false 9 kind of thing than Palacio should be first choice, otherwise it might be a toss up between Kun and Pipita.

Or maybe Lionel sends a pissy text to Sabella and he ends up playing CF and el Pocho in the wing wide open.

Barrilete Cosmico had a great intuition because after almost a year we can say Rodrigo Palacio is Always called from Sabella. And he often plays ...
and rightly ... I think it is unjust to underestimate him again..
if I read posts of 2012 I read German Denis preferred to Palacio   
but Palacio is always been better than Denis , good just for Atalanta..
about Lavezzi . he is an overrated player ..  there is no comparison between the two players
Palacio is more intelligent and he has an ability to play the ball much higher (and infact he scores more)... Lavezzi yes he runs much and he has propulsion .. but objectively he is all smoke and no fire ... I hope he won't go to Inter

They play slightly different positions. In Sabella's eyes Palacio is the first sub for Higuain whereas Lavezzi comes on for Aguero. They don't really compete with each other.

Yes I know it .... it was a simple comparison between players. I remember the debate between Inter fans when both were Inter's objectives ( during summer 2011) for the role of the inside forward. I preferred Palacio already at the time, but I I was among the few.
