Di Natale
Is there any stopping this man.Scored his 16th goal of the season against Fiorentina and what a goal it was as well..Surely Prandelli will have to take him to the Euro's..

Re: Di Natale
idk, idc... I'd prefer him over Pazzini, Matri, tbh... I'd like to see El Shaarawy too though.

Re: Di Natale
El Shaarawy is far too raw for a tournament such as the Euros, he'll need to have a lot of continuous game time to make such rapid advances as whilst he may get time in the next month or so it's really something that needs to be kept up until the end of April, so it's far too early to make a call like that.
Di Natale seems quite a safe bet for the Euros at the moment, barring disaster, though I'm not sure we'll see him start.

Re: Di Natale
tbh if we call him up then Totti should be called up as well.
We need a trequartista, and Totti has been beyond phenomenal... absolutely insane.
and this is coming from a Totti hater.

I want me some Osvaldo.
P.S. Criscito for Balzaretti as well

Don't see it happening though.
I'm gunna say the same thing I usually do when it comes to Di Natale. Good player, plays like a god for Udinese. But when it comes to the Italian national team, he has never convinced me and I do not personally trust him leading our attack. He may be a good bench option, but then again I'd rather choose either a champion like Del Piero/Totti or a younger striker who has a future with the national team. Now, given the circumstances (namely Rossi and Cassano's issues), I would still keep him in consideration, but really only as a last resort. I'd rather see Giovinco, Balotelli, Matri, Pazzini or Osvaldo for the given reasons. Pepe should also be considered. Yes I know he's a midfielder but he won't bump a CM off the squad that's for sure. He would be a useful option from the bench since we lack wide players. El Shaarawy is far too inexperienced at the moment, I would bring him in following the Euro.

Re: Di Natale
I have the same reservations over what Di Natale has thus achieved for the national team, however it must also be said that alongside Quagliarella he was the only other forward who could hold his head high after our World Cup exit under Lippi and he received little support or time during prior or subsequent campaigns. I personally approve of what Prandelli is doing at the moment in giving him a chance in our starting eleven to determine whether any natural chemistry exists between he and Balotelli which would be worth cultivating in our time between now and the Euro in the even that Cassano is not cleared to play, something which appears to be ever more likely, though with Antonio's motivation to achieve his goal of playing at the Euro beign so high, I don't doubt that it is worth waiting until the last minute to give him a chance to prove himself ready.
For the moment I can't see any harm in experimenting, though I'm adamant that Giovinco must be given as much time as possible in our team, so I would be frustrated if Prandelli's sacrifices his chances for Di Natale.

Re: Di Natale
He's an absolute beast especially for his age. He's consistently in the top serie a scorers year after year. I would love to see him perform for Italy though.

Re: Di Natale
Toto is just excellent to watch. Yesterday with the flicked through ball over the top, or the nonchalant chip over Marchetti that looped in the net, even if the whistle had already gone.
Toto oozes quality.
