Am i the only one here who rates him higher than Nani and thinks is the best winger at United ?

Dont know about the best, but he is HIGHLY effective.

Final ball is on point and it seems no leftback can stop him going right even though they know thats where he is going. Too strong for the quick ones and too fast for the strong ones.

Roughly my opinion...Doesn't seem to have any sort of plan B in his bag...Goes right every single time but somehow he manages to pull it off again and again

Interesting seeing Valencia have more assists - eight - than Nani in less games. He started the season off poorly, granted he wasn't in action that much. All this talk about him losing a yard of pace has been rubbished now, surely. I love Valencia, he's one of those players you simply can't hate. He is predictable, some of us treat it like it's a bad aspect, yet he manages to tear left backs apart with his power and space. In addition to this, compared to Nani, he is more direct and is more effective when drilling in low ball. It's debatable whether he is the better crosser.

Nani is the most technically gifted player in the squad. He's brushed up on so many aspects of his game, since 2009, where he looked destined to leave. His crossing is beautiful, especially when he picks out an area as opposed to crossing it straight to a specific striker. He's more dynamic and unpredictable. Take the Barcelona game where Valencia couldn't cope, his predictability was the reason for his poor performance. Nani is more versatile, can play as a right winger, left winger, or even as a central attacking midfielder, which we have seen him play in a couple of games, against Aston Villa and Wigan. However, we can get more out of Nani if he is allowed freedom, and Nani can make himself better if his decision making improves.

I am not sure the Guardiola comments are genuine, it's mostly been around Twitter, which you cannot simply trust. Even if they are true, Guardiola is 100% right. Based on current form, Valencia is physically unchallenged.

I doubt it, there is no report on this on Spanish sites or on Barcelona official site where there is always some news from press conference.

Way better than nani . Nani on his days is terrific but if i have to choose a player for a competition VAlencia ALL THE WAY

Definitely the best pure winger.

Valencia has certainly been looking very good. However, some of this is down to a lack of other consistent options for United. With Rooney and Nani out for the last few games, and no sign of Ashley Young, Valencia is the main attacking threat. Not to take anything away from him, he is a wonderful player and a very very good pure winger. I'm not sure he has the ability to dissect a defense all on his own. Unfortunately, I have to give the edge to Bale on that one. While he may go invisible for stretches, at any time he can "turn it on" and score three goals on his own.

In summary:
Valencia = Consistent
Bale = Explosive Talent

Wouldn't have expected Bale to run passed Scholes AND Rio. ._.

Yes he is, Better than Nani this season.
Its between Bale and him, I see Valencia nicking it.
