Not at all. Arbeloa has been as guilty as Alba for defending poorly and committing needless fouls. He also provided zero going forward throughout the tournament, something you can't say about Alba at all. I'm not a big fan of Alba but to say Arbeloa has been far better than him throughout the tournament is truly ridiculous.

None of Spain's defenders are very good individually never have.... but doesn't matter when you defend so well as a team.

As for Ramos i have made my feelings known many times but he's the least of Spain's concerns tbh.

Coentrao sent us out in 2012. Ramos was a beast that season btw. I have no doubt that he will get back to that level

He would start for the majority of your teams and it's funny watching some of you try to pretend that he wouldn't.

Dude has helium for brains though, that can't be denied. I mean we're talking about the guy that congratulated the Spanish women's water polo team on twitter for winning the world championships 17 days after it actually happened.

I personally think his athleticism causes him to just ignore good decision making. Part of me feels he'll actually hit his footballing prime once he's past his physical prime.
