Which club could you see Mourinho managing should he return to England?
Mourinho leaving Madrid at the end of the season?
José Mourinho is to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season in order to take up a new job in the Premier League, it has been reported.
Speculation over Mourinho's future in Spain has increased in recent weeks following a series of public rows, amid suggestions that he is being undermined from within the club despite their impressive form. Real's 3-1 win over Real Zaragoza on Saturday was their 17th league victory from 20 games, keeping them top of La Liga on 52 points.
A source close to Mourinho told the Sunday Times that the coach had become exasperated by life at the club. "José is sick and tired of this situation at Madrid. It doesn't matter if he wins this season or not. It's not about the money. He's decided to come back to England and he will go in the summer."
The 49-year-old, who earns a net salary of £8.4m at Madrid, has previously been linked with both Manchester clubs, while Chelsea's relative struggles have raised doubts over André Villas-Boas's long-term future. Arsène Wenger's situation at Arsenal, and the Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp's links to the England job, also raise the possibility of high-profile Premier League vacancies at the end of the season.

Okay, so I'm aware that this probably has reported and speculated on before, but thought I'd post it anyway as it comes with an actual quote from... someone. That's the problem with the report, I guess. A "source close to Mourinho" is hardly reliable and the reasons for the quote could be anything. Plus it may have been fabricated - doubtful, but still a posibillity.
That aside, there's a nice hypothetical here. Should Mourinho at the end of the season and return to England, who can you see him managing? And who could you see taking over Real Madrid?

Should join Newcastle to prove he can manage on a shoe string budget when Pardiola takes the reigns at England.

England is so desperate for Jose to come back that at the slightest whiff they start reporting their "scoops".
That's not to say Jose leaving would be impossible, however I don't think it'll happen. Jose will see out his remaining two years provided the board doesn't decide otherwise.

Why is a return to inter not a choice? He's stated many times that he'd like ti come back in the future.

Honestly this is probably 99% BS.
I say 99% and not 100% because you never know for certain with Jose.

The quote specifically states a possible return to England, so I focussed my questions on that. Him managing in other countries is obviously not impossible.

If you aren't using Roman numerals for name titles then you are just doing it wrong imo

Re: Mourinho leaving Madrid at the end of the season?
By the way, a Sport1 reporter who met Jogi Löw these days, asked him whether he could imagine to inherit Mourinho's position at real. Löw's reply:
"Der Mourinho soll mal noch bis 2014 durchhalten - so lange läuft noch mein Vertrag mit dem DFB."
("Mourinho should better try to hold out till 2014 - that's how long my contract with the German FA still runs.")

England to move for Mourinho?
Jose Mourinho will be in the running to become England manager if he quits Real Madrid in the summer, according to well-placed ESPNsoccernet sources.

Noone knows better than Jose himself, so those articles about him leaving are either bs or true. I think he will seek out his contract and if possible sign an extension.
