Is Alan Shearer a Blackurn or a Newcastle legend?

I've not seen his Blackburn years, but heard he was amazing and some Rovers fans claim that he's an Blackburn legend, so I was confused and had to open the thread.

both. the sas strike force at blackburn 1995 is one of the best attacking partnerships i have seen in the premiership. they won the league that year too.

He was more famed at Blackburn because he was winning leagues but when a hometown star comes back to play for his boyhood club he automatically becomes a legend.

I always remember him as a newcastle star because I started watching in the mid-late 90ies but no doubt he is a legend for both clubs
