Diego Ribas
remmber him right
At 26, Diego should be looking ahead to the peak of his career but instead has to recover both his form and image. His talent is beyond doubt but his mental state is often fragile. He has also been a victim of circumstances. In last two seasons Diego has played under five different managers, each adopting a different tactical approach. He has joined two clubs which aimed for things their squads were not capable of achieving and ended up losing their ways in mid-season. In both clubs he was the most expensive signing in respective seasons – making him an easy target for criticism.
i told my freinds about him and they said the guy was pure shit

Re: Diego Ribas
He was the Real McCoy in Werder Bremen, was miles better than Oezil and Oezil apparently learnt one or two thins from him

Re: Diego Ribas
I'd hope Werder manage to sign him back somehow, even on loan. That would not only help Diego, but also Marko Marin and the whole Bremen team.

Re: Diego Ribas
Diego was the real deal back then. He had it all to become better than Robinho is atm and be one of our best players. His head, his attitude ruined it for him, but the fact that he moved to Juventus at the wrong time also did it for him. I hate to see juve fans talking about how he flopped at their team, when in fact the whole team was flopping hard that season. I think he made the wrong decisions. At that time, another club might've been better for him. From there, Wolfsburg was also bad...
I saw him a few times at Atletico and thought he was alright. But its hard to judge him unless he was with even better players.

might have been overrated but he had two things that no one can deny talent and pure bad luck
on the other hand his previous team mate had less talent and a bit more luck

Re: Diego Ribas
I have to disagree. Özil certainly didn't have less talent. Özil was always younger. But frankly, I'd like to see Diego back at Bremden. That would help everybody.supra969 wrote:might have been overrated but he had two things that no one can deny talent and pure bad luck

they won't because the economical circumstances are different, and santos have got the best club president in the country. and the best coach.
diego should come to santos.

exactly. but his attitude hasn't helped him either. it happens. had he moved to another club instead of juventus, things mightve gone much better for him.

Re: Diego Ribas
Diego is really an unfortunate player, he was really a good player I'm sure if he had gone to a club like Manchester City they would have used him, even Bayern wanted him at some point but the board deny because they said they already have Thomas Muller
