will be an excellent defensive lineup when attacking.

Hopefully its confirmed soon.Would be a huge let down if we miss out on him

just look at the amount of talent udinese have !!!sanchez,zapata ,isla who is another awesome player,armero another great attacking LB who was linked with barca a few months ago,inler -i think everybody knows him,asamoah who is another beast in mf..the worst players udinese team are ironically italian in pinzi,motta,pepe,and domizzi is avg but 34 yr old di natale is still going strong..
lets not forget even their GK is talented..if pozzo lets go more than 3 players he is an unambitious,money hungry dumb-a**..

We need a LB as well as a CB.Agger is injury prone and Carragher is past his best.We cant just rely on Skrtel for whole season.

We tried to sign Jones and even bid upto 22 mil.But Fergie hijacked the deal so definitely are in for a quality CB.

Skrtel is beastly mate. It's just he was out of form under Roy, and like you said, Carra is getting old. Agger's always injured. :\

Our defence will be built around Skrtel.

Clichy is gonna be Liverpool's LB and Zapata is a ball playing defender and also a monster on the air. You guys can check him out in Copa America. He plays for Colombia.

yeah, liverpool should go in for clichy now, he would be cheaper than Jose Enrique i think and he is much more experienced as well.

Imma jump on liverpool bandwagon if they keep this up, still waiting on arsenal tho.

1. He is 24, so age seems right
2. Looks robustly built, so should be suitable for EPL
3. Average of 30 games in last five seasons, so fitness seems ok
4. Contract ends in 2012, so should be cheap

Yes, we did sign Rami, but now we're in need of an RB and CB. Zapata fits the bill thus, our intrest in him.

Btw do you think Valencia will sell Mata this season. There are some reports that we are interested in him and are talking to valencia about him.Not much credibility in them though apart from Sid Lowe suggesting we are the genuine possibility for Mata.

Around 15 mil (18/19 mil Euros).Only 2 year left on his contract so wont cost too much

Someone very reliable with Liverpool (local Times reporter) have tweeted yesterday that Arsenal had an initial meeting with Enrique's representatives yesterday.

True Enrique isnt as good as Clichy.What everyone forgets is Clichy has Ashravin infront of him whereas Enrique has Jone who works his socks off.Its always defending easy for Enrique with Newcastle setup unlike Clichy at Arsenal.

Dont think Wenger will sell for 5 mil probably near to 10 mil.We will see.TBH i wont be dissapointed with either of them.
