Obertan could be out for a Month

Newcastle United fear they will be without winger Gabriel Obertan for a month after he suffered a recurrence of a toe injury.

The ex-Manchester United man is ruled out of a meeting with his former club on Wednesday night and his absence is another blow for manager Alan Pardew whose fragile squad is already being stretched at the start of a new transfer window.

But all of our summer signings on 20-40 k maximum, Colo is the only one in the first team above 50 k.

Reports were in that time that we wanted to give him 50k and he went to you guys for 60k. I guess this will be wrong as you know more about the team obviously.

Dont listen to them, most of them were rumours and hearsay........

Demba Ba for example is on 30 k a week, and Cabaye the same or slightly more i think.......

the wage bill has been slashed to help the debts, and only really Coloccini still has a high wage ( although he deserves it imo).......

It would'nt make sense to ship out players on high wages when the plan is to reduce the wage bill just to give players higher wages......

The only way its happened is if Ashley used the Carroll money to pay incoming players wages which i doubt.....
