Farewell Hargreaves! Empty Farewell Hargreaves!

Post by DavidVilla92 Thu Jun 16, 2011 8:10 pm

Just saw it now on Skysports but Hargreaves has been let go by the club today along with Woodgate from Spurs.

So guys a waste of money or what? You decide?

I think it is a yes or no answer, he did score us that winning free kick against Arsenal which help decide who was going to receive the title but was out for the remainder of his career due to injury... Did he really do enough to live up to his price tag?

He was worth the price tag, imo. We wouldn't of won the trophies we had without him.

If I had to choose again knowing he will get injured, I'd still pick him every time.

Hindsight is beautiful isn't it, I bet none of us would of said no when he was brought.

His first season at the club was worth every penny we paid for him. He was an integral part of that double winning squad.

He really could have been a legend for United. So damn unlucky with injuries. All the best to him anyways.

Hargreaves, despite the injuries, was a true legend. I can remember how giddy I became when he started against Hull.

And the free kick against Arsenal was perhaps one of my best United moments ever, considering my brother is a Gunner.

Can't help but love Hargo.
