How highly do you rate Gareth Bale?

Scored his tenth PL goal the other day. Finally living up to the hype?

Best player in the League this season (IMO).

Inb4 Lex and Izzy say he still only had 1 good game in Milan.

Honestly though, i've seen this type of thing before. Think he'll just be another James Beattie. Play the best years of his life for 2-3 years then go back to normal.

Both RvP and Ba has been better players this season compared to Bale I think.

Still not jumping on the Bale bandwagon, once he does that outside San Siro and Donkey League we can talk

Best Winger? Yh..... Best Player ? Hell no!

He's been a damn site better than i expected of him and alot more consistent but he still goes missing far too much for my liking, for example against City he was a complete and utter ghost before his goal.

His big test will come Next week when he goes up against his nemesis Danny Simpson

Hes a bread and butter footballer, doesnt have much silkiness but he does the functional stuff very well. Not a player i enjoy watching much, modric is a better player for tottenham imo

As for Bale, I like Maradona's take on him. He is a bread and butter player. Nothing really stands out in pure talent but whatever he does, he does it well enough to be effective. Basically, a good winger for Tottenham...

Can't believe noone has mention his FK ability.

I rate him highly but not WC if you know what I mean. Above Average.

dude my brother and i have been thinking the same about johnson, he is one of the best winger in england but he doesn't play enough to improve , or to shine even. what a shamee ..
Bale has one trick and he can't rely on that forever but for noe, he is top. But he will have to adapt his game sooner or later

Erm, what? Silva has been off form for the past month, what you on about? I can't help but laugh.

Words cannot begin to describe how little I rate him. How him and Lennon get picked over Dos Santos I will never know.

The most predictable, over-rated player of all time, always goes onto his left foot and boots the ball 20 yards in front of him and then runs after it. If you took away his pace he would be absolutely nothing. Do you never wonder why he never does well against fast fullbacks?

His best 3 games were against an unfit, slow Maicon, Robert Huth and Steve Gohuri. All incredibly slow. Yet he does nothing against Abate, Richards, Simpson, Ramos, Sagna e.t.c. because they are all fast.

Before somebody says "He beat Richards because he scored past City" he scored when he went to the middle, he did nothing on the wing. He got past Richards once and that was because Richards was trying to cover Bale and the over lapping fullback. All you need to nullify Bale is pace, play Usain Bolt at full back and Bale will do nothing all game.

1. How can Valencia beat joint best when he only makes the bench for United when Nani and Young are fit?
2. I could name lots of EPL wingers that are better than Bale. Dos Santos, Gervinho, Hoillet, Malouda, Mata, Young, Nani, Ben Arfa, Johnson, Nasri, Silva, Petrov, Lennon, Valencia and Downing.

Better than Walcott.
